July 12, 20224 yr Hi All, I'm new to this forum. My searches have not yet revealed an answer to my problem, but I suspect it may involve a firmware upgrade. I have a 24V RCT Axpert 3kVA (600W solar) with two Hubble S-120 batteries. Inverter was bought in 2015. I recently got the Solar Assistant and it correctly measures the battery current when the battery supplies power, but shows a current of zero when utility comes back and the battery charges. Consequently the emulated BMS mode in Solar Assistant shows the battery gets drained but then stays on whatever the SOC is when the utility comes back on. Any suggestions? I did some extensive searching and could not find any downloadable firmware for this model. Firmware version according to Solar Assistant is 02.42. Or do I just have to live with it? The inverter works great, it's just the monitoring that's not 100% Thank you! Danie

Axperts, for reasons best known to the designers, report discharge and charge current as separate things. I note that the chart only shows negative values, so these would all be discharge current. Elsewhere, you should be able to locate battery charge current, and it should show that current.
July 13, 20224 yr Danie I have seen a few of these 24v inverters do that. (1000W - 2400W) When charging with utility it does not show Amps on the display. When tested with a clamp meter it does charge. When charging with solar it does show Amps and Watts on the display.Your inverter was manufactured 2015. Inverters manufactured 2018 is still the same. SolarAssistant only reports the info it gets from the inverter. 2018 Firmware U2 30

I would think that U1 (main firmware) would be the relevant firmware version for this issue; it drives the display (in these models), and sends the command responses (in these models). I have firmware version 02.43; it's for an 8 bit processor. They're pretty light weight. I suspect that the models with the much greater than 600 W SCC get the 32-bit TI DSP chip. They may have cut some corners on the firmware for these lower-power models to fit into the small microcontrollers.

According to SolarAssist if it works in WatchPower it should work in SolarAssist.

July 17, 20224 yr Hi All I need some help I have a 5kva SolarEJC (Axpert internals) with a Pylontech US2000 connected to it running Solar Assistant on a RasperryPi to monitor everything, the inverter is connected with USB to the Pi and the Battery is connected with the Pylontech USB Comm cable to the Pi. My issue here is my inverter is saying that the battery is full at 54.1v but the Battery is on LED number 5 showing 79% charged at 51.8v, thw battery had some issues and 2 cells were replaced by Segen and told we need to just give it time to charge up and balance now its been close to a week now on the wait for it to charge and balance and it went up by 9% since it came back from Segen. On BatteryView 3.0.28 its showing cell 6 as 0v as per screenshot below. Is there anything I can look for?

What would the voltage for cell 6 be as the top value is over 3.547V yet lower down at the normal indication it shows 0V.

That is what I am not sure of why does it show 0v and 3.547v some of the other cells were also like this after replacing them and they stabilized to Normal, but how long can it take tho.
