Hi, Can someone tell me if Watchpower fr PC can connect to the axpert wmiii via the wifi module, i ave the wifi module installed and working with watchpower for android but cant get the windows version to do anything, and the SNMP program does nothing , all options grayed out. i must be missing something but it has me beat

If it doesn't work on the pc, try use bluestax to run an emulator

If it's the Wifi module I think it is - no,there is a Wifimonitor APK that can do local network connection but the modules need to be configured for Wifi instead of AP connection

I've only seen Watchpower PC be used with USB (USB->Serial) or Serial connection

I bought the wifi module that comes with the Axpert 5kw MKSII, from the supplier - Solar Solved Africa. Its the same module in the link below:

It connects to the USB port on the  inverter and uses a USB to serial cable to connect to the wifi module. It uses the Watchpower app from the Google play store.

For the amount of money I spent on the module, its not really worth it. I'd say your money is better spent on a complete monitoring solution for both battery and inverter. I'm going with the Solar Assistant solution, as I have a free RPi to set it up.

I wanted me too to have Watchpower PC to see my inverter when i'm at home with my PC, i think it's impossible even if your WiFi module is on the same network than your PC.

The only solution i found like Terminal3K is to use BlueStack like a android simulator and to use APK Watchpower.

It's not the same software than PC version but it's better than nothing 😀
