When you say "it just stay on utilities" do you mean that the load is largely powered by utility even when solar is presumed to be available?

In SUB mode, my understanding is that it blends AC-in and solar (via the DC-DC) at the DC bus level, so that there is a potential path between AC-in and the loads, but if there is sufficient solar, it should take priority (S before U in SUB) and the path from AC-in to loads should only use power when solar is insufficient on its own. Perhaps you see the path from AC-in to load on the display and assume that AC-in is supplying the load by itself?

Good day, no if i set the SUB Function it changes over and show the bypass sign on the display and stay on bypass

I do have so solar string inputs of 8 panels each one string 535W and the other 320W, with a 4,8kw Litium battery.

Have the same model.  During the day, whatever the amount of sun, it always shows "Bypass"

The electricity useage (units used) is some 8% higher than with the Axpert inverter it replaces

Btw:  Where is the QR,code, for using the app?  Nothing on my unit, a bar code and a number that does not work

Please set your inverter to SUB, to ensure it is on solar first. This will ensure that you are not on bypass mode during the day.

To log in the WatchPower app, please use the S/N number below the inverter.

It is at the bottom of the unit, but very small, take a picture and enlarge it.

I gave up on support from Segen

Thanks

Thank you Daniel

The unit is on "SUB"

I found the serial number, W00..... and registered the app.  Then connected to the SSID from the inverter.  When running the app, on top is stated "Please enter the alais or sn of the device?

Then below is shown a graphic and Device SN:--  Wi-Fi module PN:  W00... etc

On a tiny sticker under the unit, adjacent to a bar-code is the same number W00.. etc.  Is this the serial number?

Tapping the > on the right brings a screen:  Basic Info, Product Info, Rated Info, History and a few more

Should there be any info there?   If I move away from the inverter, it states Module Offline.  If I go up close, it states "Loading" and a circle goes round and around.  Its been doing this for 30 mins
