After main breaker before earth leakage through a current breaker to inverter input. The rating of the breaker depending on inverter size.

May 17, 20233 yr Earth leakage is usually wired up after the inverter. Tripping when load shedding starts/stops is usually an indication of a floating neutral.
May 17, 20233 yr It's after the inverter, when it trips the plugs go off. Power still remains in other areas supplied by the inverter. The kodak 4.6kw is supposed to do the neutral earth bond automatically. After a few seconds the earth leakage can be switched back on and alls good in the interim. It's a intermittent thing as well.

But it is still a good measure to take a voltage reading between earth and output neutral when grid is off (islanding). That reading should be close to 0Vac when the neutral is properly anchored.
