Solarman vs DEYE Apps

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

I am trying to remotely change the inverter settings on my parent-in-laws newly installed DEYE inverter.

I can access the web interface on both Solarman & DEYE cloud using their profile username and password.

I am however unable to change settings from either of the Web interfaces for either DEYE or Solarman cloud service and cannot find any option to "remote control" their system

https://www.solarmanpv.com/  & https://www.deye-icloudhome.com/

I can access their inverter using the Solarman Smart app but I cannot login using the DEYE app.

I have the DEYE app and the Solarman Smart app installed on my phone for use with my inverter

If I go into the DEYE app I can change my inverter settings from the Remote Control menu option under the device menu for my inverter so am assuming that this is only available on the DEYE platform for some reason, anyone wish to confirm?

I can't however change the settings if I use the Solarman Smart app, I get the "Remote Control" menu option but the screen just stays blank, same login & region as my Solarman App.

Any suggestions as to how I can change their settings without driving over there?

Weird that I can login to my profile on both apps but not theirs.

Simply send a request for remote control to Deye support and provide username and password. I have done it several times.

They are not appearing on the DEYE app can log in to the website using their credentials but not on the app

Hi guys, I’m awaiting installation of my 8kw deye and also exploring what options exist (besides SolarAssistant) to manage parameters remotely.@Sc00bs, did you manage to sort this out?
