July 25, 20232 yr I keep reading online and via the SunSynk Facebook group that you must buy your SunSynk inverters at reputable providers then you will get the aftersales support if it requires any repairs etc. I am looking for the 8 KW SunSynk inverter, I have shopped around and so far have found that the Power forum-store and Voltex are the cheapest that I can find. I am in Durban so If i go to Voltex I won't have to pay Shipping. I went online to the Herholdts online store and they are R5500 more expensive then Power Forum-Store and about R3500 more than Voltex. Why are they so much more expensive? What is a good/reasonable price to be paying for an 8kw SunSynk inverter now? I have been reading that "all" the solar panels and battery prices are falling due to over supply and the falling prices in China.

My sunsynk has been an absolute pleasure to run my home, BUT I am still saving up to replace my Sunsynk with one of these 1 - SOLIS - Top World class Inverter Brand 2 - Specs way better than the sunsynk/deye - see attached data sheet 3 - Better cost point 4 - Better actual LOCAL SA warranty and technical support ( SA Solar Industry best in my opinion ) Also be sure to read my signature about my opinions Solis_datasheet_S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO_ZAF-2023-05.pdf

I agree we need to get over the sunsync hype, there are many cheaper, good quality options out there that provide what most households want from an inverter. Edited July 26, 20232 yr by FixAMess

Satisfied Axpert Inverter (MKS4) User right here, system running for almost 2 years My humble opinion that for most people looking for backup and PV, you won't go wrong
