I have been using the Efegy meters for a number of years as a way to first survey a site as to the load usage etc. It was quite a good tool for that purpose and very cost effective . The original ones I bought directly from England and then the Ellies branded versions appeared locally and I used those very successfully . Then Ellies discontinued the importation . I have used them on individual phases and on 3 phase systems . 

They are now unobtainable - what alternatives are available ? This is specific for the use of temporary measuring the load at a site .

This is a great gadget. I like the bi-directional side. 

I use the 3ph on the packing station consumption very nice and works great.

On the 3Phase meter can you still see the individual phase details or is it combined in one reading/ graph?

Hi All, chatted to Geewiz and they recommend this product - https://www.geewiz.co.za/home-electronics/192515-emporia-vue-gen-2-energy-monitor-with-2x-200a-sensors.html as I wanted to monitor 3 different cables - main house, flat 1 and flat 2 - Need to add an extra sensor.

Thoughts on it?

You can see each phase separately so you can detect unbalanced load connections per phase.
