50kW Sunsynk Issues

@Steve87 so on top of all the other issues with transformerless designs, the next question would be to see how many of these units actually make, in longevity to or past the warranty stage. Off the top of my rocker, am just imagining switching on an Induction Cooktop to make a cup of tea, the fridge motor then kicks in and also maybe a 0.5hp water pump. If one has LED lights, they're likely to possibly flicker but long term what then happens to sensitive equipment like laptops or desktops. Makes sense now why on the warranty form they say: "The product is not suitable for supplying or running life-sustaining medical devices..."

Running a SunSynk 8.8 kW machine for the past few years. The wife loves her induction cooker, and uses it multiple times per day, every day. when anyone opens the tap the booster pump (550W) springs to life. Daughter uses laptop and desktop every day. So far no problems with inverter or equipment. With Eskom available, been above the inverter rating on numerous occasions. Often have 3x 550W  pumps running, house booster, pool, and portable pump for JoJo's, never had issues. :)

Sounds sweet. How many panels and batteries do you have?

Currently 16x 415W Canadian panels and 2x Hubble AM-2 batteries. Never updated any firmware. 👍

@Steve87 @Moffat @MikSA @root Guys, I had a lengthy debate with the director of technical at Sunsynk and it turned out well. They had one of their top techs log into the system and do a thorough check into the backends, which us plebs can't access. Here is their feedback

Findings on the practice.

  • The battery profile is not setup correctly , the nominal voltage for this battery is 411Vdc , yet the battery is only charging up to 331Vdc @99SOC , Please contact freedom won to log into the battery and check as well as update profile and adjust the battery profile.

Now I have to contact FW AGAIN, and ensure they go out to site and let me know what they can do to resolve the issue. (Note, FW has logged into this battery multiple times and have always assured me they find no fault)

I'm interested, did the change of battery profile fix your issues @FrankcF
