New firmware for Axpert Max ii 10KW

Featured Replies

Good morning everyone, my name is Danilo and I'm new to this community. I would like to share the new firmware with you all.
This firmware is for the axpert Maxii 10KW with the new chipset and with the original firmware version 82.01.
The new firmware version is 82.06, it also includes the new LCD firmware with the patch I attached.
I would like to ask if any of you know how to change the parameter to fix the 90v bug.

Before starting the firmware update I strongly recommend using the laptop with a charged battery, the inverter will turn off during the update procedure.

Hello Coulomb, regarding the lcd firmware i didn't see, i am sorry 😅.

I have pushed the sailer to give me the new firmware but after the upgrade i have tested the system and is look like the issue with this 90 v 0,50 ampere is not solved.

So they releise only the firmware to solve the battery comunication issue, i think but i am not sure with the new pylon.

Do you know how to play with this firmware and change the setpoint to high voltage?

Yes, I can patch it like many other firmwares, if there is sufficient interest.

The 10 kW models don't seem to be as popular for some reason. My impression is also that the Max IIs are less popular (or available) than the Max Es.

I solved it with the official versions issued to me by the supplier Main CPU 82.60 and Scondary CPU 22.20, they were given to me by the person who purchased it Solar Power 24. I hope I have been of help to you.

I am able recover it using fw from Danilo MAXII_10K_82.06.inv , inverted flashed & boot up then I am updated again to 281.05 inverted successfully

So 281.05 works fine; you must have just had a failed upload. Very likely if you retried 281.05 without flashing 82.06 in between, it would have worked.

I note that *81.xx are 8 kW firmwares, but *82.xx are 10 kW firmwares.

With 281.05 in brik state uploading not starting sometimes was error in Arena flasher, but with 82.06 uploading started, noticed that 82.06 fw size for 22k lager then 281.05

Huh. I don't understand what's going on there. I assume that it's a coincidence, i.e. eventually 281.05 would have gone though on its own, but maybe there is more to this. There must be a great tip here, thanks for reporting this.

Interesting, though I see 12 kB difference (369 kB versus 381 kB). I see that 81.05 is missing the large PBMS command, but that only accounts for 20% of the difference. I'd say that there are other BMS related functions missing in 81.xx. I don't understand why some relatively recent firmwares (81.05 is 13 months old) are missing this code.

Hi Danilo, can you explain why this data cable modify is needed? Could the firmware be uploaded (apparently 100% ok) but not really working at all?

This is the data cable to modify.

Hope you enjoy the new firmware and try to work on it to improve the performance.

On the fifth image it seems to be a "102" resistor (means 1k Ohm), but description say 3k Ohm. Which value is the right one?
Thank you in advance.

Compatible with the 35.XX display panel firmware on the Kodaks?

No, Danilo's mcu.hex is for Round/Colour non-Twin display firmware version 22.21.

Actually, I've not seen 35.xx firmware at all. What Kodak  model is this for?
