Yes, I started the generator, lfp was running low as there is no sun at the moment.

My lfp get me through a night no problem, I am definitely installing 6 new panels within the next 2 weeks. I am Also adding an additional 3,5 kw Pylon at the same time

Panels are on the roof... So. Probably a 30 degree slope if I had to guess.

  • It would be really helpful if people would give the real power of their inverter, since there are two different models with a 5 kVA rating: the older models are rated at 4 kW (PF0.8), and newer ones a

Yes you can, some suppliers sell the two as a combination.

You could try only adding solar pannels.

@Chris Louw and @JohanO, I have written a post about Can I update my firmware.

In both of your cases, you can update to patched firmware version 72.20c (or later versions of 72.20x if they come out), if you have the 64 V option. Johano, you said yours had the 64 V option, so you're set. Chris, you need to check setting 26 (Absorb/Bulk voltage setting) to see if it goes to 64 V or not.

If you don't have the 64 V option, any attempt to reflash the firmware will fail, but no harm will be done. You might have to restart the inverter to get it out of reflash mode. At least the Axperts do have a fail-safe for 64 V versus 58.4 V models. It would be really good if they had the same for 145 V SCC versus 450 V SCC models, but they don't.
