Alright, the battery was replaced. I've charged the first module to 100% (as the others also were), to get to the same voltage and I will set them in parallel. There's almost no difference in between cell voltages of the new module (0.014V) at 100% and no temperature increase.

Thank you very much for all your support!

  • I think you are over analyzing things ,those figures look fine. 3,6V is not anything crazy ,there are batteries that only reach 100% soc when a cell hits 3,6V...  Deye batteries do this as example.

  • I would say it all looks pretty normal , it can take many cycles for that lower cells to come up to the level of the others. When you have batteries of different ages the stack will almost always beha

This topic has been quite eye opening. I've only recently been able to establish comms to the batteries - did not have a cable in the past and so far I've learnt over 20 new things i did not know about just by looking at BV all day. Most of all i noticed one of the batteries i bought last year showing this type of behavior that was mentioned with the extreme cell differences, early alarms and super high temps when balancing. At first i thought this is most likely my own doing since i had no idea about balancing until a month or so ago and i've been running that poor sod like that for a year. that said, only now adding my most recent secondhand one is it apparent that it could perhaps be something else at play here rather than my mistaken non balancing. it should have done it by itself with ample time over the course of the past year. I've still to figure out exactly how to get the putty information you all are posting but i'm wondering if this could not also be one of those with a busted cell in the first place
