Hi, need some help please, inverter is installed,  now trying to do the initial setup. Up to batter settings all is OK, move to CT settings  ct is set , ratio is 2000, try to do ct test and get the following  message: test results- does not meet the test conditions.  Cannot go any further with the setup.

Any ideas on this?

What load did you have switched on when you did the test?

is the ct coil connected?

@Shockinonly way to test is to turn on a load on the non essential circuits & have a look at the flow diagram. If you turn the load on the Grid flow direction must be logical. Similarly if you have zero export & send power to the load on the non essential the diagram flow must be in the correct direction.

If you find it's not flowing correctly you can swop polarity in the setup without touching any hardware. They have a setting that allows this. I think it goes along the line of switch CT direction...

Hi, no load switched on

The reason I asked is that on some other Solis inverters like mine they specify a load of over 500W during the testing of the CT after the ratio is keyed in.

This to see that the CT is measuring correctly.

Hi

CT problem is sorted,  now have the following  issues

Can't set the country code, can select it but it won't save.

I don't have my panels installed  yet but would like to have the inverter on standby as if it were a ups incase of load shedding, is this possible?

What should my settings be on this inverter?

Thank you

@Derek3 CT reverse. I actually think this is really useful because sometimes that dam CT goes into such a tight spot & to take it out & reverse is a pain. Although I never ever removed it I just placed it & then reversed polarity on the pins. But I must admit the wire for the CT is ridiculously short on the Solis. It's actually a joke. & The Sunsynk one is ridiculously too long.
