Henna123
Hi. I have a geyserwise installed, and to save power now in the winter we heat up the geyser to about 55 degrees and then turn it off by the main breakers. But after about and hour or 2 when we turn it on again the temperature drop till about 25 degrees. We even covered the geyser with a geyser blanket but the temperature still keeps dropping after we switch it off. Does anyone have any suggestions or a reason why this is happening. JamesF
My Thoughts: You have a leaking hot tap in the house, and the geyser is being flushed/refilled with cold water continuously. (is the water hot enough to use when it says "25" on the Geyserwise?) If the water is hot, then faulty temp sensor, if the water is cold, see point 1. gkj_muk
I have the exact same experience. what I have noticed is that the temperature in the geyser is still ok.. "above 25" The problem is probably the placement of the thermometer in the geyserwise setup.. I suspect on the cold side of the geyser. Its worse now with cold water intake close to 0 degrees. Usually the true temperature stabilises after about 20min. JacoG and zsde
