July 17, 20242 yr Good day Forum buddies, Does anyone maybe have the list of warning codes for Sunsynk Inverters and their meaning? I do not understand why this would not be in a datasheet or user manual but I have not been able to find anything more than a couple of the Fault code meanings. I have an inverter with a W01- Reserve warning and no idea as to what it means or how serious it is.

July 17, 20242 yr Are you possibly using custom software to interrogate the inverter? Maybe trying to access a non existing variable / address? Had a quick look, but most is in Chinese.
July 17, 20242 yr Comms Protocols often have reserved registers, sometimes for future use, sometimes for private developer use or even for debugging use. Only the manufacturer will be able to tell what they are used for on your specific current firmware version.

Hi, Not at all - Sunsynk Inverter (12 kVA), with the Sunsynk logger and the Sunsynk 10 kWh batteries - which I was only later informed are not actually Sunsynk batteries but some sort of Herholdts thing. If it is a software address issue it can only be Sunsynk itself. Can I ask where you got that reference table from?

Seems like a bad idea to have a triggered warning on installed systems at users' homes that have not been quantified - especially as this is electricity. If I were doing RND or trying to make a logger work or something to that effect it would be a different case. Or just a changelog notice from Sunsynk at the least if they are adding functionality.

July 18, 20242 yr How often does it happen? At night with no PV? During the day with PV? With light loads or heavy loads? Does it happen with uneven phase loads? (i.e. heavy loads on one phase, and light loads on the other two) I think the 12 kW can have up-to 60% load on one phase, can't remember for sure though.

They can operate and balance the load, which means you can have 20% connected to one phase, 20% to another, and 60% to the third phase, and it still gives you perfect phase rotation. It happened early morning for two days consecutively (when I noticed - with the logger discarding alarms I may have missed other dates I did not look into the system for a couple of weeks) and with no intervention it has not happened again for the last two days. No load changes - the system has been installed for a year - load balancing is fine. It is 60 % you are correct. New Deye can do 100 % but I have not seen this myself. I am going to leave it for a bit - only thing I can think of is the battery cycling to setpoints with the morning being the lowest point. If I can get it to consistently do W01 on reaching the setpoint I will have my answer. I do however believe a low battery warning should trigger not a "reserve" warning.
