Featured Replies

Hi all.

I'm having trouble getting pbms tools v2.5 working on windows.

I'm using this with CAN and get a the below message.

I cannot change the ADDR field

When I check Device Manager it shows "USB Serial Device(COM3)"

Any assistance is appreciated

Thank you

Greetings @DeezGP, I had the same problem with comms as well, the solution that worked for me was updating the "Driver Software" online under Device Manager and this worked. See screenshot of where to go and "right click" the comms port that may have an error. I'm using Windows 7, but this should also work for Windows 11. If you have no joy, let me know. Best wishes.

I had similar problem and finally found out that one of the downloaded files was on "read only" status. After unlocking the file the problem was solved.

Hi @Beat thank you for this. I have tried this by clicking on the folder and going to properties and unpicking read only. This did not resolve the issue.

@Moffat I have also tried updating drivers and it say the drivers are up ro date.

Thank you for trying to assist.

I will provide an update if I resolve this
