September 11, 2025Sep 11 Hi, I'm looking for some help with my solar and battery backup installation in Sandton (Johannesburg). I have a failure on the master battery (red light) and one other is not charging. Can anyone recommend a technical service support team/person/company to come to site and check if the problem is software/hardware/inverter and then recommend a solution. Thank you.
September 11, 2025Sep 11 @Gavin Heron ,It will be useful if you can supply a bit more info on your system, like Inverter & Battery, make and model, as well as how your system is configured, as it may help pinpointing a resource that has come across this scenario before.

Did you ever get feedback from Segen? They would have downloaded the logs and sent then to China analysis. There is a likely chance that they will reject your claim stating the batteries have been overcharged. "Common problem"

November 4, 2025Nov 4 I got my battery back and fixed. Nothing was wrong with it. The voltage was low. They recharged it and it is working now. They sent it to the Durban branch for fixing

Gracias.Hola defecto en las celdas y puentes entre celdas de mal litio q lleva la batería sobre los dos años de uso falla Míralas por detrás. Se deforma el casco ce la batería...fosfato de funda de pastico litio malo
