Hi all, I have a Axpert inverter with Pylontech battery, along with ICC monitoring the SOC on the system. This was installed in May and running great. However in the last 2 weeks, I have woken up in the morning and the battery has auto-shutdown due to the SOC falling below the set SOC of 20%.

 

Anyone else experienced this and have suggestions how to rectify?

Looks like something is drawing a lot of power early in the morning. Freezer or fridge switching on? Some other appliance? How is your geyser controlled?

Fridge is on and nothing else but its strange that ICC didn't switch it over the grid once it reached 20%. Johan did say it happens from time to time and is called a hard lock, just interested to hear if anyone else experienced this. Not in the market to get another battery just for this

maybe set icc to switch over when SOC is 21%.

US2000B will switch off at 20%, and maybe it is to fast for the icc to detect that SOC is @ 20%

 

Thanks, Ill give that a try. Battery continues though until it reaches 7% then seems something used the last bit of power and hard locked it

US2000 Plus will go down to 10%

Just checked now and is actually set to 25%, now Im confused

The bms of the battery will switch on / off by itself. The inverter does not influence or manage it. Look at the green lights on the pylontechs which indicates the soc.

It switches off when it is down to one green light.
