Observations/Comments/Requests

  1. I prefered the old WS where the display stayed on the whole time.  I dislike having to move the mouse to see the information.
  2. The same data is used in CS and GR however the figures differ slightly from that produced by SEMS (in general lower than SEMS).  Eg for 21 Nov PV production, cef utility = 35.699 kW, SEMS = 37.0 kW. Export of power 17.93 kW (your utility) SEMS 17.8 kW an exception as your utility in now lower.  Only checked in detail for one day. I also something Goodwe calls "self use" - the daily PV power used by a household, effectively the balance of PV after removing PV exported to grid.
  3. I may have a communication problem with the inverter, I downloaded a couple of days data and it had some missing periods.
  4. Would it be possible to make the daily data (I see you currently display 12 days worth of data) in the GR section available in excel format? Extracting summary data from the daily data is a challenge.
  5. Must the utility be connect all the time to obtain daily data?  At the moment the PC powers down after 5 hours on non-use.

Error messages

I'm getting a battery over voltage alarm, BMS code 8.  The batteries do not show an alarm. I have 2 PylontechUS3000 and one US3000c.  I think I read somewhere that I must change a setting in parameters but cant find it now. If you can help it would be great.

Hi @BGb !

1.) I have noticed that with old or low power processors the error rate of UDP packets increases. Also, in the next revision, I am going to correct this and leave it as optional for the User in the "Parameters" tab.
2.) That's right. I would be very surprised if they matched exactly. kWh is an integration of the samples over time. I do this integration with the samples second by second. I don't know how often the SEMS Portal does them. But we already know that the transmission of the data to the sems portal from the power inverter is never done at this sample rate of 1 second or less. Likewise, I don't think that for the calculations they consider the conversion efficiency of PV Energy to Alternating Current, so if you put 100% in the Parameters tab instead of putting 97%, the calculated Power will simply be the product A x V. You will see in this case that it is a little closer to the value that the SEMS portal shows you. In future revisions I will incorporate the "Auto Use" of the PV Energy to separate: Battery Charge + Essential and Non-Essential Loads from the Energy Exported graphically in the "GR" Tab
3.) I don't think so. Obviously if your PC is not running 24 hours, it will effectively have blank Accumulated Data during the time it is off since the Program must be running (i.e. it does not download missing data from SEMS or get any accumulated data that the Power Inverter could save to its own memory if it does so at this time). On the other hand, don't forget that the Totalizers in this software are closed Every Hour. Although graphically you can see the results in minute of hour in the "GR" tab.
In case the program is running and there is an interruption in the information it receives, either due to failure of the WIFI antenna of the power inverter or due to problems in your LAN, the current version will indicate the instant of the interruption or " Information frozen" and the re-establishment of communication. You can check it in the "EL" tab or errors/events.
4.) Sure! I can contemplate it in following revisions. For now you have the data in a .csv file almost second by second of several days and they are grouped by Minute, Hour, day, Month and Years only in a Graphical way.
5.) See answer 3.), however, in some future version I hope to be able to read the information from the Sems Portal to complete the data that is eventually missing with "hourly resolution" for cases of PC failure, Operating System or eventual freezing of the system itself software system.
Warning Number: 8
If you look at the current version of PV Master, you will find this same Warning in its Alarm Log.
I also have Pylontechs US3000C and from time to time this warning appears, which then clears up, returning to Normal condition after a few minutes. It appears when the batteries are charged to 100% of their SOC. I wouldn't worry if it disappeared after a few moments.

I wanted to confirm that thanks to  @paul99  report, I proceeded to force a VAC FAIL condition in my house, manipulating the fault limits in the PV Master configuration for my country code.
I can confirm that the data provided by Goodwe for non-essential loads is in error during the FAC or VAC fault condition. Probably a firmware bug.
In the next version, upon detecting this condition, I will display the correct data coming out of the Logic in the schematic graph.
In FAC Failure Condition or VAC Failure due to energy outside the limits established by the configured Country Code, the Inverter goes to Off Grid Work Mode in anomaly condition.
In this condition, the AC Power Input to the Goodwe Inverter is cut to protect it and to protect the Bypass AC power supply to the Backup Loads, however this does not happen with the Non-Essential Loads that unfortunately continue to receive Power from the Grid (dirty energy ) with Over/Under Voltage Problems (VAC FAULT) or Frequency (FAC FAULT), since these loads are directly connected to the GRID.
The data delivered by the Non-Essential Energy Load Sensor in Watts must be identical to the Total Value Imported from the GRID, since due to the FAC or VAC error condition, there can be no contribution of Batteries or PV Energy to those  non-essential loads
In the next version (4.20), I will correct that misinformation from the same Goodwe sensor and the data in the schematic will make sense for that fault condition. It will also come with other news.

@sakhir  Sorry for the delay. Today I send you your key.

@abrax  Download the Program. Install it and privately send me the information that the program installation screen asks for. Try to write in English. Thank you.

Prova a scrivere in inglese. Grazie.

sorry I really apologize, I'm not practical and often I'm afraid to change some parameters

Every day I get this error.

on the backup I have nothing connected, I mean prorpio that the inverter does not even have files on the backup side

Another thing : as soon as I go on graph , the program from error

You see Abrax, I don't know why you don't have your BackUp loads connected, it's the most important thing and the "Reason for Life" of a photovoltaic installation.
In the Error Log, this is a perfectly Normal Alarm because downstream of the home installation there could be a short circuit or a ground discharge that would trigger the protections of the Essential Loads Board and here it shows you the time it occurs. If it appears at the beginning of its execution, it warns you of a situation that is not normal and desirable
In reference to the Program Error that appears in the window that you show, it is correct, it appears in the event that you want to see the Hourly or Daily graphs and it is a BUG that appears for your particular installation since a situation was never contemplated in the program in which there is never consumption for Essential Loads. The program detects other data, but when the historical values of the essential loads (Back Up) are = 0, a failure situation occurs. Thanks for reporting it. I will correct this in the next review.

shouldn't I worry?

I don't always understand because of the unclear translator. I don't have short circuits, I'm sure

on backup i have nothing attached, the installer did so i don't know why. as I said before I don't think I have a short circuit anywhere. about this, for you what should I put on backup? if you can advise me.

at the top I see this inscription . What is the error?

Screenshot 2023-03-24 145353.png

It is not an error. It is an instant diagnostic code of some data about the operation of your power inverter.
It is the same one that appears in the PV Master application at a certain time.
If you think your inverter is malfunctioning, you can report this code to Goodwe Technical Service
Don't worry. It is for advanced users.

.

if I wanted to connect the inverter of grid, do I simply have to configure it via the Pv master app and disconnect my counter? or do i have to do something else?

Today is the first real sunny day, I noticed that the inverter has restarted several times. matte the error screen

before it was written DC current high

hello Cef. I know very well that I am killing you with all the questions. I beg your pardon.! How can I see how much energy I've taken from the grid? I'd like to know, the charts don't work because I don't have anything connected on the backup. I inquired and in Italy it is forbidden to do so, as it is forbidden to make an island plant
