February 29, 20242 yr Thanks Bobster. I don't know if there is any software that can communicate with goodwe as well as a 485-CAN converter. Do you know any?

Why do you need it to be compatible with both? If you have comms between BMS and inverter, then the BMS will report SOC etc to the inverter, and the inverter can report that to ICC or Home Assistant or whatever else you are using. Make this two smaller problems.
November 22, 20241 yr Ahoj, jsem tu nový. Chtěl bych vyzkoušet váš program. Mám solární invertor Goodwe 3648ES. Když program spustím, požádá mě o klíč. Je možné, abych to od vás získal? Předem děkujeme.
March 7, 20251 yr hi!! I have a GW 5048-ESA where would it be possible to find the installation file? Thanks!!!!
March 7, 20251 yr Author Hi .In the download area of the forum, a new version is coming. I will publish it shortly.

March 10, 20251 yr Hi CefIn January 2025 I change my Router and thereafter was unable to load your Goodwe app V.04.02. I get this error message below. I found the inverters IP adress using SEMS+, network link, WLAN. The ping command is returning data but I'm still unable to obtain access the App. Any suggestions on what else I could try? I'm not as technically savvy as PilgrimToHyperion..

The latest version for this device is 1262521. It's also possible that your new router has some kind of delay or excessive delay for the UDP protocol. If you have an installer password provided by Goodwe for your SEMS PORTAL account, you can initiate a firmware update task for your device yourself from the Goodwe IoT platform, without needing to request it via a support ticket:https://eu.iot.goodwe-power.com/#/login Edited March 15, 20251 yr by Cef

March 17, 20251 yr Firmware updated but same error message. Assume its the LTE router but not getting support. Also a torrent site where the incoming connections time out so it may well be some communication problem.
May 6, 20251 yr Hi CefI've changed routers and can again access you utility. I'm trying to do homework on going off grid, it appears one needs information on your useage pattern throughout the day, probably on an hourly basis. I've extracted the data in exported CSV file but the volume of data is intimidating about 90k records for a day and 65 for a minute, is there a way to aggregate the data per hour?
May 8, 20251 yr Author Hi @BGb !I don't quite understand what you need. The file you're referring to is designed so that installers/advanced users can observe, with an accuracy of seconds or less, all the parameters evaluated by the software based on inverter information from the last few days. However, all this information is already filtered by type. In the CE tab, you can see comparisons of the current/previous hour, the current/previous day, the current/previous month, and the current/previous year.Meanwhile, in the GR tab, in all types of graphs, you have the values broken down by type, totaled hour by hour for a day, day by day for a month, and month by month for a year.Of course, you must leave the system running permanently, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It's a SCADA-type system with constant monitoring. If you only have it connected for an hour, you'll only have the totalized minute-by-minute information for that hour. If you have it running for a day, you will have detailed and filtered (discriminated) information available for 24 hours.

One you can feed in the % power use per hour for a average day (24 hours). This will allow you to determine extra PV/battery capacity needed to go off grid. I would extract sample data sets for a couple of scenariosThe consumption data in the GR tab per hour is what I'm after, to access the data per hour it looks like I have to hover the mouse over the hour and write down the values. Is there a way to directly access the data displayed in the GR tab for a day? Thanks

May 9, 20251 yr Author @BGbWell, the truth is, I haven't received much more motivation from forum users to continue uploading subsequent versions, and I'm struggling to prepare a new one so it looks good in the forum's download area. I'm sending you a Google Drive link where you can download a fully functional version, although not the one I'm developing. It may have a bug that I'd appreciate if you could report to me. In the "Events" tab, you'll find a bug in a feature I'm implementing, but that doesn't work well yet, related to unexpected photovoltaic power outages. The idea is for the system to alert you with an audible alarm. I had an arc flash in my installation due to a dubious MC4 connector I'd had since 2017. A fire started in the connector while the arc flashed until the power to the entire string was cut off. The idea behind this feature I'm working on is to at least warn you and give you the opportunity to react in time if a fire breaks out on your roof. This guarantee of at least one loud audible warning can only be achieved through a real-time SCADA system.Follow the installation instructions in the .txt file once you unzip the ZIP file.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EwOGCG4DpBgTaV7C9FaVcv6J-euCZsOv/view?usp=drive_linkHere is a YouTube video (with many editing limitations) of a previous version (4.25):https://youtu.be/G22gsCb9wHo Edited May 9, 20251 yr by Cef

I need more time work with the utility for the momen the focus is to see how best to extract the data (the dark background and figures makes it difficult to read), the 3D bars and legend seems the clearest for hourly data. Thanks again, its of great asssitance.
