Cliffie Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Good day I am new to this forum can some one please assist I got Meccer 5Kva inverter is there a patch to be able to see it to solar utility then battery only setting is solar battrey and then utility, would appreciate any help Thanks Quote
Tariq Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 think only the King and the VM III series have that option, don't tink you can change it, however, Coulomb will hopefully see this post, he is the guru of Axpert inverters Quote

It will run on solar until your solar production reaches 0 (during which time it will draw the shortfall between load and solar production from the battery). Once your solar productions reaches 0, it will switch over to utility Maybe you could set your 'Back to Grid Voltage' so high that it will switch over to utility shortly after starting to draw from your batteries If you do not want to draw from your batteries at all, then you will something like ICC to do time-based switching to utility Quote
Cliffie Posted February 14, 2021 Author Posted February 14, 2021 Hi wolfandy my Merccer only has sbu will try setting back to guide voltage high and see if that works Thanks Quote

There are many 5 kVA models. What are you using for changing settings? Front panel buttons, Watchpower, ICC, or some other monitoring software? Edited February 16, 2021 by Coulomb wolfandy 1 Quote
Cliffie Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 Hi Coulomb The settings it has is solar battrey utility or solar or utility that's the 3 settings it has looking to found out if there is away to add a setting solar utility battery so batterys can only be used when load shedding comes,I am using watch power program. Thanks Quote

So your inverter has the following 3 settings, correct? SBU (Solar, Battery, Utility) Solar Utility In that case, Solar should be what I have been referring to as SUB and Coulomb as SOL Quote
Cliffie Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 Thanks will set to SOL and give it a try Quote
