Chris Hobson
Normally by 10 am there is enough excess energy to power my 1500W 200 litre geyser. If I look at my production I can already see it has reached a plateau at 10 am this morning. Is anyone else experiencing a noticeable effect of the solar eclipse today? Mark
We are cloudy here so will miss the eclipse but I am seeing the same thing if you look at the Southern African group results... huge effect between 11 and 1400. Mark
I have updated... PVO depends on uploads by members and the 9 missed some big boys given timing... see my post now... for real time have a look at the link. I m also not guessing who has clouds or not... so I'm included but this may skew the results. You can select which sites you want to and so guess who haves sun for example... I guess the impact is best seen by just selecting Northern guys and exclude WC and EC today with the cold front going through

I was outside and can not see a difference with my eyes The annular path was over Madagascar, Reunion and Tanzania and then over to Central Africa. Over South Africa the effect was greater in the Transvaal. edmundp

Gerald_db
Very pronounced effect of the eclipse clearly visible. Further on you can see a dip and ramp up after a mains failure and generator kick in.
