Great to here. Got mine up and running about to months now 1 x hubble AM2 and 12 400watt panels and 6 x 445 panel good choice 👌.
  2. It can become and expensive hobby when you get sucked in. For example the panel are like a car you will benefit from them the inverter and batteries they like fuel you need it to make the car move. I think the only time it's really effective when you totally off grid , that when you can safely says the system pays for itself but a costly affair for that part. Just my thoughts.
  3. Hi Done by myself , but there is a common point that is the earth rod.
  4. Hi It also could be there to protect the surge from pass through to common earth on inverter. But for me I ran the SPD to an earth spike not to common earth's connected to inverter.

@Achmat @Leshen Hi All this morning I got and F20 fault code on my Sunsynk 8Kw could it be the pv amps exceeded 18amp or thee battery as Kieth video says battery. But have checked battery I have 1 x hubble AM2 with 70mm cable which seem correct , also cables the same length. Can anyone shed some light would appreciate it thanks.

  17. @phidz i just hose them down with water and then if there ia stubborn dirt i use sunlight with a squeegee. I hose them down first to avoid scratching the glass that my way.
  18. @phidz i try every month as they are easy accessible. Its make a difference.
  19. Hi All Just my finding. I have around 4000watts of panels on 1 string facing NE they produce around 1300 to 1400 in winter after clean them they went up to 1950watt. So dust realy affects there performance. Just a thought.

  22. @Vassen are those Jinko good im stuck between the Jinko 6 x 460watt or Candian 445 watt. Candian i can get from Durban but Jinko up in JHB. You guys are lucky when it come to Solar equipment as they are available close to you guys. Here with courier charges we get killed a bit.
  23. @Vassen Hi Vassen i will be taking them both out and using th e Sunsynk only. They working well most discarged them at 25% most. Stove on gas and geyser i did a DIY flat plate with gesyer wize. 2 reasons i what to have one control point and combine my pv array. The second my other half sometime user the kettle microwave and washing machine at the same time. One day when im not there to remind her she let it be so before that. Ill make that change.
  24. @Vassen @YellowTapemeasure I will be having 7470 watt pv array hoping to generate around 5000watt. My current usage is around 18Kwh and day. I have a Axpert King with 4 x 200amp batteries and a rct V2 5kva grid tie with 4 x 100amp lead crystal. They just over a year old. So during the day i want to feedback to grid with the Sunsynk to compensate for the night so it evens out on my meter. Until i save up or sell some equipment and get at least 11Kwh lithium iorn batteries. Does that make sense or advise.
  25. @YellowTapemeasure I think its the 22amp awating from the Power Fourm Store. Steeve said stock will be arriving at the end of this month.
