EaSunpower (AXPERT MKS IV 5600) dreaded Error 61
Just get MultiSibControl , much better control for Pylontech than SolarAssistant. --- >>> http://www.multisibcontrol.net/ I run SolarAssistant also in parallel but only because it has a web interface , else for battery charge control is kinda useless and for Axpert licensed inverters is full of bugs. And by the looks of it , your inverter Firmware has same problem as mine ... never got it working with Pylontech BMS.

Inverter U5648 no display (STM32F107VCT6)
Thanks for sharing When I get my Deye I will try to flash my Easunpower with this FW ... if it breaks it breaks but maybe then it would work with Pylontech .. if it won't be toast

Don't know the Dyness BX51100 but looking at the specs the settings should be ok. What voltage does the inverter read from the battery ?

Pylontech in Parallel with DIY pack ?
Thanks everyone for the input. P1000's Idea with 15s for the DIY pack is not bad either Anyway , this is a project for next year as the budget for my solar system is exhausted and the priority would be to buy a Deye inverter first so I can start injecting to the grid. Thanks everyone for the input , will study the possibilities some more until next year when I would have money for this.

Pylontech in Parallel with DIY pack ?
Pylontech is indeed 15S but I don't think that is important ... Pylontech has it's own BMS , my DIY will have it's own BMS. Will supply same voltage to both and BMS should do it's job for each pack. I don't charge my Pylontech to 100% anyway so if inverter is charging with 52.2-3 will be ok for all banks. Well, if I get my hands on some good quality 300Ah+ cells and build a pack , I can safely switch off the Pylontechs and run only with the home made pack. For now , I am studying Alibaba for some sellers with EU stock and thinking to take the plunge and buy 16. Kinda risky on Alibaba but don't see many alternatives.

Pylontech in Parallel with DIY pack ?
Hi guys. Has anyone experience with runing Pylontech batteries in parallel with DIY LifePo4 packs ? I have started to look for 3.2 LiFePo4 batteries 280-300Ah and thinking to start changing my 5 Pylontech's with some "home made" packs. Pylontech is good , stable but expensive when thinking at $/kwh Right now my Pylontechs give me 321Ah and total cost was over 6000USD. With 6000USD i can build 3 x 300Ah packs... As I do not have the 6000 at habnd I was thinking to buy 16 x 3.2V LifePo batteries , build one pack and then sell 2 of my Pylontechs ... then buy 16 more , build one bank more and sell the rest of the pylontechs. So when I make this , I was thinking to run the Pylontech in parallel with the self made pack ... if possible ??

RS485 or CAN
I'm happy with the graphs , but not happy with the inverter control options. So I have laptop connected with MultiSIBControl to control the charge options and control the inverter and SolarAssistant for remote access at the graphs and when I need to make changes to charging current. Hopefully next version of SolarAssistant will give same control options and schedules as MultiSIBControl offers. MultiSIB Control is indeed a very good control tool.

SUNSYNC-8K-SG01LP1 and SUNSYNK-8K-SG03LP1
Here you can use ANY unit you want as long as you do not inject in the grid. When you inject , there is a 3.6kw limit for the 1 phase but same time the inverter must be on the government pre approved list. Sunsynk and Deye are not on the list ... yet ... but soon should be. Also , talking with the guys from the local community , some of them have put units on grid and just limited the injection at 1-2kw or around the own consumption limit and would rather pay the fine if caught than pay the stoopid high prices from today which would have exceeded the fine price So thinking here to go with a Sunsynk / Deye , make everything off grid as I have it now and when they come on the list then I can connect on grid and inject the surplus.

SUNSYNC-8K-SG01LP1 and SUNSYNK-8K-SG03LP1
For single phase yes, for 3 phase I think there is no limit. Sunsynk also replied to my support question : "Please see below , they are the same specs. We checking with our technical writer and will feedback info as soon as we have information. .... 10 min after... ... It varies to the area in world it is sold at. --------------- I must say , I am impressed by the responsiveness of their support department. Makes me think more and more towards this brand. Support is key

SUNSYNC-8K-SG01LP1 and SUNSYNK-8K-SG03LP1
A bird told me the Sunsync will be very soon be approved for the local on grid market I have been looking and looking and can't seem to find the difference between this 2 models ? What's the difference ?

Off Grid to Grid ? Anyone tested ?
Well , was just an idea , I can always think of stupid things to do , getting bored at work today.

Off Grid to Grid ? Anyone tested ?
In THEORY it should work .. the Hybrid inverter syncs the frequency with the grid , does it not ? ... well , it was worth to ask and I'll drink to my father. People with ideas like me keep the inverter factories working ... I've dismantled all my fathers electronics to see how they are build and how the work ... when I was 10 I knew every screw in every electronics in the house 😛 and I always had some extra left every time I assembled them again.

Off Grid to Grid ? Anyone tested ?
Well , my father always said that people with ideas are called "Idiots" I am one of them. I was thinking to make an experiment, if possible. Would be possible to connect the AC output of an OFF Grid inverter to the Grid ? Yes, I would need a smart meter so it cuts the AC when the grid falls down so the people working on the grid don't get electrocuted ... but would this work ? The inverter produces power only as long as it feels there is a need for it.. this way I would not inject , just produce when the apparel on the grid requests it. Anyone tried / did something like this before ? After summer vacation I will buy a Solis RHI or GoodWe GW5048D but the idea just hit me ... call me Idiot

18X375W Panels - 2SP - I'm being paranoid ? :)
Well ... I must say this inverter has a BAD design or the engineers who made the concept did not think this through ... or maybe I am stupid Today I made some tests with the two series of 11 Panels ... and to my surprise , around 10:20 when the sky was clear , I came around 5600W for a minute or so ... I'm baffled 🙄... So Mr. Tony from EaSun was right , I had to increase the PV Voltage in order to make it go over the 4000W cap. BUT WHY ??? Why would i need to go over a certain PV voltage ? I could see amps going up to max 15A so there should be an amp or two more to squize ... Question is ... would I have SAME problem with a Solis or GoodWe inverter ? Because if I would have same problem with a Solis , GoodWe or for that matter with another Voltronic then there is no sense to change the inverter for now 🤔 As of now , even with 8KW of solar panels I am capped at 5500-5600W .. would this be the same with the other inverters ?

18X375W Panels - 2SP - I'm being paranoid ? :)
Well , today I installed the extra 4 panels. Now I have 2 strings of 11... If this is not enough .... .... I'm out of options and I'm left at the hand of the EaSun poor support. Let's see how they perform tomorrow but I am 100% sure I will not go over the 4K cap 🤭 I can't leave 12 or 13 in one string , I am sure in the winter I will jump over the VOC of the inverter.

18X375W Panels - 2SP - I'm being paranoid ? :)
Exactly the response I was expecting from EaSun 🤣... in other words "you must add 1000000 panels in the XYZ config in order to go over 4000W and we take no responsibility of the marketing scams we pull"... "Hello my friend, At present, the PV power of the machine > 4000W needs to meet the condition of PV voltage > 360V. The data you provided did not meet this condition. Therefore, using the following solar panels to make the PV power > 4KW, it is necessary to adjust the number of PV series to 11 series (12 strings of PV open circuit voltage is too close to 500V voltage, it may jump the PV voltage is too high abnormally) In addition, the current PV input voltage of the machine is limited to 18A, not 27A, which is included in this manual. thank you" There is NOTHING in the manual regarding 18A limit , saw somewhere 27A ... but at this point I'm like ..whatever .. Anyway , as I said, today I will receive 4 more panels and will install them just to show him i'm still capped at 4KW. After summer vacation I will get a proper inverter and get over it , no sense in wasting my time and money anymore.

Combined Wattage Solar Panels do or don't ?
Thanks everyone for input. For now my idea is to go with GoodWe as the BRAND is on the list and maybe it will be one of the approved ones soon.... not sure. I will only change the inverter after summer vacation as the "solar" budget for now is exhausted I could go with a cheaper alternative but I do not want to loose the battery functionality. EaSun support asked me for logs which I have sent them and maybe ... maybe... they can come with a firmware patch.

18X375W Panels - 2SP - I'm being paranoid ? :)
@CoulombSo what you say is that if I increase string voltage I would be able to see more than 4000W on the PV ? OR no matter what I do , I will max see 4000Watt ? Sorry , but my electronics skills are limited

18X375W Panels - 2SP - I'm being paranoid ? :)
I will check the panels setup from the other people , not sure what config they run but at this point I think I am wasting my time and everyone's else time trying to make this work as it is As for the inverter I can see it's trying to keep a bus voltage around 360V and maxes out at around 400V ? Will keep an eye on it just out of curiosity.

Combined Wattage Solar Panels do or don't ?
Yes, I was thinking about that to , and I took some photos and videos. Will upload videos to Youtube and send them all that ... but I am quite sure they understood the problem.
