Hi @kellerza... Not sure if (a) this has been asked before, or (b) it's a real n00b question, so apologies in advance... Does your SS/DY Inverter Add-on (with the new Solarman capability enabled) depend in any way on Stephan Joubert's Solarman integration? If not, is there any problem with running both at the same time? Thanks for the great work!

Johann, is there a writeup yet on how to configure for the Solarman driver? I have added the repository and the SS multi Add-on, also have my Deye and Solarman logger serials and the IP address, but not sure what to do next? Thanks for the great work!

Johann @kellerza, with the latest Solarman commit by Xhanti, would one be able to write values to a Deye via the Solarman wifi logger?

Thanks for the helpful guidance and video(s)... Subscribed! One question regarding the various Deye HASS integration options... Can they all update inverter settings as well, or are some read-only? I would like to be able to (for example) update minimum battery charge levels for various levels of ESP expected loadshedding. I currently have Stephan's Solarman integration working, but I don't think that can push any changes back? Thanks bud!

After upgrading to the latest stable SA (23-02-28), my Pi started losing the serial connection with my Deye inverter, as well as the connection to the internet (same as @Warlok above, although a clean flash to previous version solved it for me). I'm a sucker for updates, will just have to contain my enthusiasm! Rolling back to my flash image took me all the way back to 2022-06-28. Connection stable, but missing support for quite a few additional Deye numbers in MQTT/HA.

Hallo almal! New user here, Paarl resident. My inverter and batteries were finally installed yesterday -- such freedom to simply forget about load shedding whilst watching Silo last night at 10pm! Solar panels have been delivered, but installer is awaiting A-frames for the roof slab installation, ETA about two weeks. Once everything is up and running, I want to get into the automation aspects -- currently considering RPi + Solar Assistant + Home Assistant. Are there any other platforms I should think about? Also, what's everyone using for their geyser management? I have 2 x geysers running on-grid only, along with the oven and HVAC, so looking to minimise Eishkom leakage. Onwards and upwards! BWB
