  1. Thanks for responding and sharing what you are doing to get around this issue. I assume that you have Lead Acid batteries.

No worries I would still check with Revov as they going to honour your warranty.

My LFP cells came with a recommended charge/discharge current as well and this is what I used which was significantly less than the maximum in order to improve the life of the cells. The normal recommendation is to do 0.2C of the battery so 80 Amps barring any manufacturer recommendations.
  4. Great to hear . Yes it needs to go through a few charge/discharge cycles with the correct peukert settings to work out where 100% And when you initially connect power it will show 100% SOC

Do you have the datasheets for the batteries and BMS ? A lot will depend on what the manufacturers say.
  6. Ok are you going to be using the Pi to connect up the BMV as well and to control the inverter.
  7. I have the following at the moment: - Axpert-MKS-Plus-2KVA- 6 x Canadian Solar 335W panels wired in 2 in series and 3 in parallel- DIY LiFePO4 Battery Bank 180Ah with Daly BMS - BMV 702
  8. What are the other components in your system ?
  9. Ok do you have the 3KVA system ?
  10. Ok I have a Daly BMS as well and it seems to working well from lithiumbatteriessa. I have a Victron BMV 702 that I had installed with my previous setup and use it for as a SOC meter
  11. Ok you have it connected but having had the batteries to the BTG voltage that's good to know. I had my axpert installed about 10 days ago so the battery bank was not full the first day and with all the bad weather it went on bypass with the battery charging off the grid and then also had to adjust setting 11 from 27.0V to get it to allow more charge to get into the battery bank. What I did notice the first time this happen to did not even go from charging to grid to using the battery when the setting 11 was FUL at least now it automatically does that although the end state of charge is around 70%. On the low end initially also had to change it from default values to 22.5V which it gets to now. What BMS and batteries do you have ?
  12. Ok and you don' t have the grid connected because the other issue I noticed is that the back to grid voltage is also an issue and I am unable to charge the batteries to its full capacity... Is there any other strange behaviour that you have noticed with the 24V system ?
  13. Ok I have also noticed the same. What settings do you have to get the optimum out of the solar charging and battery bank ?
  14. Yes PM sent
  15. I have a similar battery setup but with a 2KVA model and recently got it setup. I have been noticing a lot of the same behaviour with the differences of the "battery" voltage displayed and what is actually measured at the battery leads me to think that it is the same for all the 24V models. @jaqkar what are your current settings ? I am going to try @Adri settings tonight and see what happens.
  16. I have the 2KVA version and seem to be seeing the same issues. @Fox what did you eventually do with your setup to get it to charge the batteries full ?
  17. Nice setup I also have some of these batteries and Daly BMS What voltage are you seeing now at the batteries vs the output ?
  18. I have a similar setup with a 2KVA version of that unit and with Canadian solar 335W panels with a custom LiFEPO4 setup with 180Ah. I have the panels connected in 2S3P configuration and with setting 2 set to 60A. What setup do you have in terms of priorities of solar/utility ?
  19. Looks great RikH. BTW I ended of getting a Daly BMS well made and reasonably priced and works like its meant to
  20. Anyone interested in slightly used HA02 battery balancers like these : https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Equalizer-48V-Voltage-Balancer/dp/B07L8WKKC3/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2B96L9WFA21O9&keywords=ha02+balancer&qid=1585288253&sprefix=ha02%2Caps%2C382&sr=8-1 I have two in the original boxes. PM for any offers. I have moved my setup to Lithium and don't need these anymore
  21. Yes the entire world is on pause...
  22. Thanks for sending this. I do have the MPPT manual but there is no specific settings for different chemistry batteries. For interest sake how long does it take for your batteries to go to charge ? I should have been clear that I don't have a solarmd battery but other LiFePO4
