What should my bulk float and cut of voltage be? It's connected with the shoto sdc10 box

Hi thank you for the reply I do have option to select LiB. LiB is selected but does not come with a shoto battery but if you connect there brand battery it communicates. For voltage Can you tell me what should I put bulk as float and cut off? Should I use the mode user or agm?

Hi guys hope you all well ? i need some assistance . i have this inverter felicity solar IVEM 5048 pretty solid inverter but the inverter only communicates with its own brand batteries , i have asked the manufaturer and they told me there brand batteries work of the pylontech protocol , so from my understanding maybe someone can correct me and help me if the shoto battery is working off also the pylontech protocol that means it will also communicate with the inverter with no issue provided the cable is made correctly with the correct pin out right ? i would like to know how do i check what protocol the inverter is running of ? in the meantime while the inverter is not communication with the battery , what settings you suggest i use in the meantime ? user ? or leave it on LI? what should the bulk charge voltage be - float charge & cut off volatege currently its on 56.6 Bulk 56.5 float cut off 43 that what the system is at on default hope someone will be able to assist me in getting the bms and inverter to communicate

i would like to know if any inverter has a RS485 port and the battery has the same and you know the pinouts for inverter and batter with that work communication ?

Thank you for the response I'm not sure if this inverter will come on with just a battery source but I will give it a go. I am handy with electronics do you know where I can find the schematics.? Or what to search for to get it?

just an update of my issue that was corrected . the neutral wires was done incorrectly and fixed and at the same time my bms on my shoto battery gave up and was replaced and now everything is working 100% how i noticed the bms was an issue was my soc was showing 100% then 0%

for shoto to know if its the bms if the run light is off and you check your soc on the solar man ap and if its spiking 100% then 0% its bms issue i change to bms so far on two different sites , december 2021 changed in march 22 2022 , 2nd site Jan 2022 changed 01 march 2022 i dont like when this happens because customers think we giving faulty products . does anyone know where i can purchase some bms i need 6

i had this also on my deye 5kw will be 100% then drop to 0% this is a communication issue with the bms i had on a shoto battery . once we changed the bms on the shoto battery everything is perfect again

thank you for the responds and explaining so well to me i will remove the Aircon. i think maybe thats why im getting f18 . do you think a faulty change over switch can also cause a F18 error ?

No overload I have a small home at the time before load shedding I was using 500w I have the shoto 5kw battery The F18 error displayed when loadshedding kicked in and only after about 5-6mintues the inverter battery kicked in Before it was not doing that

Hi guys I have a deye 5kw inverter. I had loadshedding and it took 6min before the inverter battery kicked in? Anyone know how can I fix this? Where it will be a seamless change over?

Hi guys I don't want to open a new thread because I see we discussing alread about a battery I have i have 2 of them one is working fine the other batter when I switch it on it shows red light at ALM what can I do so it goes back to normal ??

I have disconnected the voltage reg and left it on solar only when the inverter is ofit shows the solar panels charging the battery. When I switch it on after a few seconds error 09 kicks in . So there is an input of power

How did you connect them ? Parallel ?

hi there guys . so I have been running my inverter on solar only and its been doing well for some time until today . BOOM I got an error 09 ! I have seen threads started about this error 09 , seems like error 09 is our nightmare . so how I got hit with error 09 is that I got a guy today to install a voltage regulator at my place because our power some times spike to 250v and back down to 230v Eskom or city power just says it will be fine give it time hence I installed this voltage reg. so after installing and connecting everything again boom error 09 has anyone found a solution for this error 09? what can I do to fix this ?

i also notice that , my battery voltage shows 50v with a battery capacity of 28% is this normal , doesnt the two have to be inline with one an other ? when my inverter is in battery mode it will show battery capacity at like 28- 41% but then when utility kicks in it all of a sudden shows 100%. why does it do this ? is there a fault somewhere or does it have to do with my settings ? my inverter is set on SDS

what is ICC and BMV please educate me ? i am currently running v1.13 i have changed the charging time in cv mode to 60 min. please can you tell me if my other settings is correct like : back to grid voltage : 48.0 back to discharge voltage :54 battery cut off voltage :44.5 float charging voltage :51 bulk charging voltage :53.5 also i see they have this battery equalizing setting should i enable it ? and what doe sit do ?
