  1. Nasty people on this forums I see. O well not interested any more.
  2. Yes true they can gas very bad if hot. Remember the picks of the exploded house. Yes they need good ventilation.
  3. Cheap alternative is what I said not that lead acid is better than lithium. The flooded calcium batteries handle higher temp better than AGM batteries. (What I should have said.)
  4. Your inverter need to be repaired if your batteries are still fine.
  5. As you describe the alarm that is normal 4 beeps silence the unit is in battery mode, 4 beeps in one second continues is battery over volt.
  6. See the address settings are all the same on batteries.
  7. If you're panels are on the same direction and angle you do not need any diods. Diods on the panels are for reverse protection.
  8. Pouvez-vous m'en dire plus sur le système complet, le nombre de panneaux photovoltaïques et le type de batteries.
  9. I agree with Scorp your batteries are shot. Your settings for gel batteries is a bid high. The spec voltage on the batteries is @25 degrees. Voltage and charge rate must be lower at higher ambient temps in summer.
  10. Repaired on last week, with no load on battery only the display showed around 100va X3 if remembered correctly. how ever it only draw 2.9A from the 48v power supply. That is +/_ 140W idle. I noticed that on very low on no load most inverters do not measure current very accurate.
  11. Do you have the batterie BMS connected to the Inverter?
  12. Are you pushing all your load thru the inverter? Stove geyser. The inverter can only handle 40A max in bypass and will trip at overload over 5KW. 4mm wire will work 100% for the AC connections.
  13. Did you try setting 5 on the inverter it self?
  14. Shop for the best price, 12v lithium batteries are expensive for the watt hour capacity . Out of stock at the moment the Mercer 200a 12v 2.4 kWh are a better option for the money. ( Second live cells) These have no BMS communication to the inverter but so do your mercer 3kva inverter have no BMS communication. Load tested many of them and they deliver. can't say if they match the "10" year promise of some brands, which i do not believe in. They will all last at least 3 year. That is longer than warranty of 99% of most manufactures warranty duration. Cheap option are deep cycle silver calcium national auto batteries (Midas, Willard, Exide, No Name all manufactured by national auto batteries ). They can handle high ambient temps better.
  15. Check for bad Earth leakage, neutral split, appliance leakage of earth neutral bind at supply. The Earth leakage only trip with imbalance between live and neutral thru earth leakage. Check inverter settings for appliance or UPS, try appliance setting and see if this help.
  16. Soapy water sunlight liquid or car shampoo, wash with a rag can reach my panels easy. Was them if to much pigeon sh#@t on them.
  17. Yes 4 panels should be around 160V open and around 135V VMP. I see the spec for Sunsynk MPPT is 125 to 425V and start voltage of 150.V The MPPT should utilize the panels fully.
  18. 3 Panels will not work on the SunSynk inverter, you are correct. You can do what Coulomb suggest or try our best to fit 4 panels on the roof.
