Axpert King II bypass function in parallel connection
I stand to be corrected, but the 1 inverter must be a master and the other 1 a slave in parallel mode. The slave follows the master's commands. Is your setup like that and which inverter receive the ECO command ?

Voltronic Axpert King II 5kw Inverter Problem ( Fixable ? )
Hi there Is there any hope for fixing this inverter? Is it worthwhile, or should I just send it to the scrapyard never to buy them again ? Bought 2 brand new (and expensive at the time) King II 5 kw inverters (with 6kw MPPT) from FullcircleSolar end of March 2023. Had many problems getting it to work in parrallel mode without error codes due to magnetic interference with each other. Eventually had to send one back and take loss on it by accepting another (bigger) 2nd hand inverter form them in return, for which I had to pay more for. (This unit now also gives problems by just switching off (going in eco mode) whenever it wants. But 6 months ago, after working for 2 years without giving any problems ever, the remaining King II just stopped working one evening while under low load. It smelled like something burned inside. I sent supplier email below but they said warranty is only 1 year. I already bought another inverter to replace this one. Is anyone interested / capable to fix this main board of the King II inverter ? The rest of the components is fine I think. I thought about fixing it myself if it was just a capacitor short or something, but I looked hard and long using my multimeter but as I'm not professional in this stuff I cannot find what is causing the short on the DC circuit. It's taking up space too long now on a spare table in my house and I'm about to scrap it as a lesson learned to never buy a new untested product/inverter from Voltronic brands again. Good day One of these expensive Voltronic Axpert King II inverters that I bought from you just stopped working during Friday night. It does not want to go on again. It seems to have a short on the battery input terminals as it make both my battery DC breakers trip, as well as the over current protection from the batteries themselves. Can I send it back to you for repair? It is still under the 2 year guarantee from when I paid for them. One of the reasons I bought these genuine Voltronic King inverters from you, and paid much more for them than others, is because Paul told me they are much better quality that others on the market that is knock-off Axpert inverters. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Paul is welcome to give me a call to discuss.

Axpert 5k Relay clicking and flashing lights. Won't Start.
Also just want to say thanks to all the contributors of this thread. My E&E engineering son returned back to his flat in Stellenbosch this week only to find the 4 year old Axpert King 1 inverter won't start up after the holiday. As this specific inverter requires a connected battery before it will startup, we originally thought it was just the battery which ran flat (he left it on ...). He first borrowed a 48V charger and charged the battery to 51V which then started the inverter , but with the same flashing LCD and LED lights problem as shown in this thread. Showed him this thread with the possible solution and he then proceeded to take apart the whole inverter, bought 2 new CAPs, soldered them in as replacements and put the whole inverter back together the next day. No screws left behind, he was hopeful ..., and VOILÀ (!) , inverter started back up functioning perfectly as before. Hopefully fit for a good few more years of service. R10 for the CAPs vs R12 000 for a new inverter, now that's a good deal. Reminded me of my days when I was his age when I fixed my PC's by just replacing the busted caps on the motherboard . It's a good feeling !

My son this weekend installed for me 2 x ESP32's powered with 5V, while the Max RS 232 converter connected to it uses the 3.3V, so I was just curious what you are meaning. They are connected to 2 different Voltronic inverters (Max 1 and King II ) and sends data to Home Assistant, which also updates a local database, and from where a Grafana dashboard can be viewed for both inverters. He also had an initial problem communicating with the newer model King II , with no replies received, but in the end it was a coding error on the ESP which didn't know how to interpret the responses that came in back from the newer King II which differed from the earlier model King I responses.- Teardown of Nenergy 24v 100ah you never know what you pay for
Lithium Batteries SA has always been very open which cells and BMS they use in their batteries. Also, some overseas battery manufacturers is open with this as well. I don't know why most of our SA resellers are so shady ... Why are our suppliers not like this one ? 👇- 8Kw SunSynk with ESP32 and RS485 not communicating.

This post is a good example of why I rage against these unscrupulous sellers of batteries in SA. If they won't tell you what BMS and Cells are inside, run away as fast as you can !- Any new reviews on the VOLTA batteries??

Volta is just a SA spec'd rebrand of this Chinese system builder ... https://www.genixenergy.com/power-storage-wall/5KWH-ES-BOX12-51.2V-Wall-Mounted-LiFePO4-Battery.html Volta refuses to disclose the BMS they use inside their batteries Volta refuses to disclose the cells they use ... It could be cheap 2nd life cells inside, sold as new. Who would know ? Volta does not want to allow me to monitor the individual cell voltages or temps inside the battery on a dashboard like Home Automation ... Volta does not provide a LCD screen on their batteries to show SOC, individual cell voltages, temperature, etc ... Volta does not provide a DC cut-off switch on their batteries Volta include cheap tin-coated (not 100% copper) DC battery cables with their batteries- Hubble asking for COC?
You should ask Hubble a few questions in return : Who stands behind their warranty on their batteries ? Can you have a copy of the guarantor's financial statements to see if they have a solid balance sheet to honor warranties ? A guarantee/warranty is only as good as the person/company who stands behind it ... Who manufacture the cells used inside the battery ? Is it new Grade A cells, and how many cells are there inside ? Who manufacture the BMS used to protect the cells inside the battery ? ( Long term testing done in Australia has shown that most battery system failures are due to BMS faults or failures ...)- Hoselect LiFePO4 48v 100ah battery reviews please?
I strongly disagree. What is a brand essentially ? It's trust in the quality and history of performance and customer service in the long run of a company's products. If I buy a Mercedes Benz car, what am I buying ? Do I buy "some" engine that conforms to a certain standard, or do I buy the full backing and support and quality history of a company that stands by it's name, and has a reputation and brand value to protect ? There are many dubious new battery names in this SA market, and most times unsuspecting customers don't even know if there are new first Grade or Grade A cells inside or how many of them inside, never mind who made them ! This is shady marketing. If customers and the public are to be able to fairly judge and compare the different batteries on the market, then they must be able to know, exactly, what's all inside... to make an informed decision. It means nothing if someone posts that they have used x battery for couple weeks or months without "problems". On the other hand, if they tell me their battery has, for example, 16 CATL cells inside, with a proper respectable BMS, then it's a different story where I as consumer can research the long term history of it's components' performance.- Hoselect LiFePO4 48v 100ah battery reviews please?
I'll say this again, 2 essential questions battery system manufacturers should be able to answer to consumers is : 1 : Who manufacture the cells used inside the battery, is it new Grade A cells, and how many are there inside ? 2: Who manufacture the BMS used to protect the cells inside the battery ? If they don't want to answer these 2 essential questions, then run away ! ( Long term testing done in Australia has shown that most battery system failures are due to BMS faults or failures ...) Even the LiFePO4 batteries sold on the PowerForum store they won't give me those 2 essential answers. If you are proud of what you are selling, and have nothing to hide, why are you not transparent ?- Esener lithium batteries

Well done. I think you are a genius ! 👏 Your own solution seems to be way ahead of the recent Voltronic solution, which only suggest putting capacitors across the PV inputs, and which did not work in my case... ( the reason why it did not work is probably explained here , https://www.solar-electric.com/learning-center/reducing-electromagnetic-interference-pv-systems.html/ ) Could you share what kind of ferrite core you used please ? I want to try a similar solution as yours for my 2 Voltronic King II parallel connected inverters that is giving off so much EMI causing data and current sharing communication problem errors. Thank you for your post and sharing your solution.- Axpert MKS II Parallel Error 72
https://1drv.ms/v/s!AuPP1ik91xcWggkjTgz2GiCUeI8l?e=5O2cBV After restarting the system after the Voltronic F80 error, I get this F72 error in the above video, and it goes away only after I wait for a while, and then try restarting again .- Axpert MKS II Parallel Error 72
Have taken the time over the weekend on Sunday to install the 600V capacitors into my 2 parallel connected Axpert King II Voltronic inverters. This is a working system supplying loads to my home during loadshedding, so is quite an inconvenience to shut the system down during this time. I have to report that unfortunately installing these capacitors did NOT work... After working flawlessly on only AC supply the last week (as it did for months before I connected solar), very soon after I connected the solar to the inverters supply, I got the F80 and F72 errors again. Whole system (both inverters) go into bypass mode, and have to be completely shut down and restarted. It was a cloudy day, I might add, but a solar MPPT should not have trouble with this right ? Now my supplier, Full Circle Solar, want me to take out both inverters, and send them both to him so he can test it in his workshop !! Leaving me without a backup solution during loadshedding. Needless to say, this is very unacceptable and high disruptive and inconvenient. Voltronic F80 error video.mp4- Axpert MKS II Parallel Error 72
Yes, shielding the cables will probably not help much, and also would be unwieldy and difficult to do properly in any case. Interestingly, to add further evidence of EMI as the probable cause, I found this post https://diysolarforum.com/threads/eg4-6500-inverter-shutdown-with-f80-fault-during-testing.55184/ , where the poster said he "discovered a significant amount of the rfi is from the mppt" - My inverter supplier is sending me those 600V capacitors to install on the MPPT connections, so hopefully that will solve my problem, as it apparently did for some other people. I am also going to order some clip-on ferrite cores ( https://za.rs-online.com/web/p/ferrite-sleeves/1703331?gb=b ) for my solar cables and also for the serial data cables and the current sharing cables, just to double sure. Torroids could probably also do the trick. I have many of them around in old PC power supplies.- Axpert MKS II Parallel Error 72
Hi Coulomb I have the same problem as many of the other people in this thread. I didn't know the problem's cause has for certain been identified as EMI interference yet, but I assume it could very well be. If that's the case, do you think it's coming from the MPPT solar charger high frequency switching, specifically when solar power is low, as some has suggested ? If that's the case, apart from installing the capacitors as suggested as a possible fix, could it not also help to wrap tinfoil around the communication and current sharing cables as well to help shield them from EMI ?- Volta batteries, are they worth it?
IMO, don't fall for the carrot. Bought 2 recent LFP batteries, one from LBSA and the other from Volta. Both 1C charge and discharge (100A) batteries. Volta looks good, come with DC cables, but don't have DC cut-off switch and don't come with a LCD screen and menu buttons. Bad customer and back-up support. LBSA, local manufacturers of system, very good local support and they call YOU back ! Battery come with DC cut-off switch and LCD screen en menu buttons.- Volta 5.12kWh Lithium-ion Battery
I have 2 Volta Stage 1 batteries. Looks good, and priced right, but the backup support is terrible. Also no DC cut-off switch on battery, so you have to fit your own.
