BenS got a reaction from JayMardern in Assistance Sunsynk fault codesGot the following response from Sunsynk support:
"We have an issue at the moment with fault codes being thrown up on Sunsynk Connect but not actually on the inverter. Please check if these codes are real (on the inverter), and if so let me know asap so that we can investigate further. If not, please bear with us whilst we fix this issue."

This is a solar Europe community with a few groups under it. I find this better than individual groups. Deye / SunSynk employees are in the groups to respond to queries and do firmware updates if need be.

BenS got a reaction from Nayna in Assistance Sunsynk fault codesJust now for the first time since my inverter was installed last year, I also received 4 fault codes directly after one another in the seq below:
F57 - AC_BackFeed_Fault F54 - AC_C_InductCurr_DcHigh_Fault F52 - AC_A_InductCurr_DcHigh_Fault F51 - Battery_TempHigh Now all is normal. Battery temp @ 15C
Anyone experienced this before or know what the combination of codes could indicate?

BenS got a reaction from Nexuss in Lithium Battery Fire SuppressionHi,
A friend recently told me that his insurance company insisted on some form of automatic fire suppression with his lithium battery installation. I still need to confirm this with my own insurance company.
He referred me to this product on Takealot: AFO Fire Extinguishing Ball and another local option is Fireball RSA.
Has anyone had the same insurance requirement or installed any automatic fire suppression devices with their lithium batteries?

BenS got a reaction from zamr in CBI Astute Smart ControllerRegarding your first question, I have had no issues so far. Not sure about the reliance on an internet connection to program, but you can control it manually via its power button.

BenS got a reaction from Piper in Over Discharged Lithium Ion BatteriesUpdate: The retailer replaced both batteries with new ones with a full charge. Contacted the manufacturer and they also indicated that I should return as the voltage should never be that low.
Thanks for all the feedback and advice.

BenS got a reaction from Scorp007 in Over Discharged Lithium Ion BatteriesSo far everything seems to work fine. Ran on backup for up to 6 hour slots now with about 500W office load and so far no need to shut down (was never able to do this on the gel batteries). Difficult to gauge DOD as my inverter does not indicate this accurately for Lithium batteries.
