Solarman Dongle LSW-3 stopped working (on Sunsynk 5.5KW)

Featured Replies

When I was overseas I discovered logging stopped about one year after installation. Back home no lights were on on the Solarman stick logger.

Reset button had no effect. Thought logger was broken. Finally after some weeks I disconnected the logger and inserted it again in the inverter and voila:  Logging started again.

Could not imagine it was that simple.

I have the same problem, except re-plugging it did not work. I also see there's no inverted data coming through on the riot cloud app. Could it be that the Sunsynk (6mo old 16kw) blown it's data port somehow ?

Was your logger problem solved? Have same issue on Deye 5kw inverter. All leds are dead. Unplugging logger had no effect. All was working fine for 7 months. Not sure if it is a logger or port problem?

Clint I had the same, eventually got a new logger which also did not work, so I switched to Solar Assistant, I think my coms port is dead.

Same, deye 8kw, have inverter for about 9 mths, no lights go on on lsw-3. Thinking of replacing  small board next or is the a setting in config? What else can be done? Is there another way to monitor? Any advice appreciated

Have any of you had any luck in solving this problem. Mine is doing exactly the same from 23 December.  How can I test the port or the logger. It's in use since 24 July 2022

I already had this problem in a Deye inverter, it was the communication board broken. You should contact support and ask for repair/replace that board.

On the port side PCB, look for the resistor marked "C9", and remove it with a pair of longnose pliers😉
