The concept of a scene means you group a number of timers together so you perform 1 switch action and all of them change state. That is what Peter meant with a scene.

Actual product that was delivered had a Sonoff Mini R3 in the box with two L and two N connections. No actual switch connections. Electrician is here trying to install it and is a little concerned that they are not the same devices and are missing contacts. Anyone install one and run into similar issues? Update on this, GeeWiz sent me a replacement Sonoff Mini R2 as a replacement, must have been a packaging mistake.

The Load Shedder is a smart power detector that turns off appliances such as pool pumps, Geysers, and anything else you would like to switch off when load shedding starts. It also recover's the load when eskom power is back with delays. No additional re-wiring of DB board is required. All appliances that need to be controlled require smart devices like Sonoff Basic or any other Sonoff products. Aleks Aleks, Will the device override a schedule created in the eWeLink App? I have a Redpole Switch connected to my Geyser and defined the following: On: 05h00 Off: 07h00 On: 11h00 Off: 14h00 On: 18h00 Off: 21h00 If LS kicks in at 10h00, will it override the scheduler when it tries to switch the Geyser on at 11h00? Thanks
March 19, 20233 yr Author Hi The Sonoff Africa Loadshedder team has found a very simple way to sort that out as the last command is always true with Sonoff. It really took us a year to test all the possible combinations. Sorry, my phone died as I was typing the response and have just run out of time. If you did not get the links with our product just give me a shout and I will send them to you. Aleks

I have setup the load shedding switch.
March 20, 20233 yr Apologies if asking something obvious, new to this all. - Does the loadshedder fit into a BD or does it need to be mounted outside of it? - I recall reading it works with Tuya. So if it connects to Tuya, I can use Tuya to create a scene triggered by the loadshedder, which would turn off a bunch of smart switches (like CBI astute)? Or does this only work if the smart switches are Sonoff smart switches? - what high amp sonoff smart switch could I use to turn off a geyser, and a stove/oven?
