Morning all

can anyone tell me were I can find a suitable relay, Voltex as well as AC/DC in my part of Pretoria don’t have stock and can’t seem to find any ARO list of these any help would be appreciated 

Use a 1p or 2p contactor rather.

I used to have a relay in my system, but used to get random earth leakage trips in early mornings while connected to the grid (not using grid - and not happening while disconnected from the grid)

My installer has now bonded inverter and Eskom earth - and I have not had any problems since

So not sure if a relay or a fixed bond is the better option

Wolfandy would that then be seen as a permanent bond and not in accordance to code? I’m so confused with all the reading around this already

I'm currently using one of the Hager ESC225 contactors. It's working fine but feels a little hot for my liking so may upgrade it to the ESC240, but that means upgrading the mini DB as it's currently full and the ESC240 is 3 times wider...

that's the coil and nothing else causing heat... a larger contactor will not run any cooler... I'd imagine...

I have to honestly say that I do not know. My installer tells me that a permanent bond is according to the code - and I have heard the same elsewhere.

But I am not an expert, so please don't take my word for it
