A solar geyser seems like something I will never see a return on given they cost around 25k installed and we only spend R260 a month on heating our current geyser. The solar geyser will probably break before we see any savings

December 14, 20223 yr Author I cant do that style as it is on an estate and the others cost 15k before installation, and by the time you have been charged 200 rand a conex fitting and 800 an hour labour.... I am thinking gas but they look ugly

April 19, 20233 yr Install a Geyserwise dual AC/DC element PV powered (standard) geyser. Once the house is signed off, disconnect the solar panels and connect them to your inverter. 🤣😂

High pressure is the normal one we see. Cost wise the low-pressure is super cheap and fitted on RDP houses - R8K for a 150L. You can sometimes get them even cheaper if you have a contact that supplies RDP developments.
