Hey Guys,

Please could you help with step by step instructions on how to get Sunsynk to allow me (an end user, not installer) to chnage the settings on my own inverter remotely.

I have tried all the apps, smart, business, pro and none of them allow me to do this, I have emailed Deye \ Sunsynk and requested this access but no response, can anyone help with how to get this enabled?

ThanksĀ

You have to send an email to sunsynk support and ask for remote control ability to be enabled. Tell them you are an installer or else they will be hesitant and tell you to buy the sunsynk dongle . You must include your username and password for solarman business . After they have enabled it you use solarman business to change the settings .

SA is worth the money. Stop begging them the access. I dont f'king understand why wouldn't they allow the end user to remotely access the settings of their inverters.

Whatever an enduser could access a setting physically, is what you get on their remote access (solarman). There is nothing special that could start a nuclear holocaust. So I dont understand the restriction.

If an end user f'kd the settings remotely, there is a higher chance they would f'k it first physically.

Ridiculous we cant just have this by default, its such a hassle to have to go to the inverter physically all the time \ when travelling not being able to manage the system

They are not telling you the truth. Tell them solarman does not have the authority to do that and they have to do it.Ā
