My 8kw Sunsynk is working well on Solar and battery, however there is no usage at all from the grid. There seems to be AC as per the picture below. The timer settings are fine. The CT was checked and is on 5&6. I tried adding more load and still no grid. The installer reset the inverter to defaults and still the same issue.

there is a setting for grid trickle feed, is that perhaps on zero?

Also your timing setting for battery / grid use is important.  - this will determine if its going to take from your battery or your grid

another thing it could be is your "prioritze load" setting.  If its ticked, then it will take from the battery instead of grid (if im not mistaken?)

What happens if you firstly turn off the timer, and secondly change the Grid Start value to a value above the SOC value, eg. in this case 80%

My Sunsynk 5kw is doing something similar except the voltage is showing as 540V. No frequency and no Watts.  The AC light remains on even though grid has been disconnected and measures 0v at the input. DC side solar is working 100%. Check if you AC light remains on at all times even during loadshedding. My wiring has been checked and all RCD devices are working fine. 

The system worked perfectly for two weeks and then this happened.

@GreenFields - Tried that and it makes no difference. The link going to the grid is still greyed out

@Peter_L The AC light is on during loadshedding aswell. Did you manage to resolve your issue. My wiring and everything has been checked

My unit is going back to the suppliers as it is still faulty. My installer is going to install a loan unit in the meantime.  

Added some pictures of mine.  The voltage still shows even with all inputs switched off. 

Could these be wiring issues?

Have you tried:

1. to measure the grid voltage with a multimeter?

2. a factory reset?

 

Do you have surge protection on the grid side?

Normal reconnection ramp rate = 0, when input range is between 1-999 seconds?

Try set it at 60seconds. Might do nothing, just find it unusual.

Does not allow me to change normal reconnection setting 

@Peter_L  I’m having a similar situation, my 5kw unit detects around 70 to 80 volts when the grid is disconnected. When the grid is available, the AC relay connects then disconnects immediately.
