Hi, I would definitely go for a POWR3. Also recomend installation in the DB if there is space or next to the DB and not in the roof as the heat in the South Africa roof is above the operating temprature of the POWR3.

I also use a POWR3, but instead of flashing it with Tasmota, I already have a Home Assistant with HACS and the Sonoff Plugin. All functionality already present with the advantage of using the eskom se push api where you use the automation to turn on the geyser at strategic times.

Sorry to necro this thread but I need some direction to install this with an isolator, it's the double Neutral that has me asking questions instead of just steaming ahead and installing.

Current install has the Geyser switch feeding an isolator switch which the feeds the geyser.

Edit : I read the instructions instead of just staring at the switch, imagine my suprise when the instructions clearly indicated how to install the switch 🤭
