Panels for 3kw Mecer Inverter

Featured Replies

@charl perhaps connect one panel only, and see if its actually charging then. perhaps the inverter is blocking out everything as its overvoltage.

the 90VOC is an absolutely max, and as Coulomb has mentioned on another post, the controller will actually start blocking out below that, and blow up at 80Voc

just a test, before forking out money on a new stand alone controler

Thanks for all the replies. I'll try find a replacement charge controller as we just install a Hubble cloud link to be able to control when the inverter uses solar battery or grid.

Not sure how it will work if it uses a external charger

Epever SCC uses its own program to set and control charging. There is a lot more parameter settings and is more accurate than Voltronic. There is a display on some or can be displayed on laptop. This can not connect to cloud link or the inverter. SolarAssistant is working on a Axpert-Epever program to be released this year.

Ok. So after disconnecting all the panels. And connecting one back. It started to charge the power the load. And charge the battery a little

I then connected a second panel in parallel and it is now charging the battery. But the cloud link does not register the solar.Screenshot_2023-03-12-12-32-33-502_com.android.chrome.thumb.jpg.5c62606d238ece44604b9e0af3b46e9b.jpg

It is a very cloudy day. But seems the 2 panels are generating around 50% power. so seems right. I'll add the other 2 panels one at a time in parallel. This will be under the 50amps

What PV input do you notice on the inverter screen seeing that cloudlink does not show it?
