August 29, 20232 yr Hi all. I have a Kodak VMIII 3kw inverter. As the loads are powered by PV, it constantly fluctuates and uses the grid or battery to stabilize the power. Linked is a video where it constantly charges and discharges the battery to stabilize load. The load was a constant 1,1kw and did not fluctuate during this video. Is this normal for these inverters? TIA

BMS is functional It does seems strange that when the PV produces 1.4kW at the 1.1kW load that the battery shows 25% SOC and a few seconds later it shows an estimated 100% SOC when PV is still more than the load connected which as you indicated is steady during the time the video was taken. The current supplied by the battery is also below the 50A charge/discharge level so it should not be limited by the BMS. May be some of our other members can add a reason or 2. @Coulomb @GreenFields @TaliaB @BritishRacingGreen Edited August 29, 20232 yr by Scorp007
