October 11, 20232 yr Sunsynk lists three models in their small all-in-one range - Lifelynk, Powerlynk and Loadshedder (and each of these subdivided into 3.6w or 2.5kw versions). Looking at the spec sheets, I cannot find any difference in these three? Why the different names (punted as if its different products) - is there actually any difference between these three models? https://www.sunsynkmobile.com/the-lifelynk
October 11, 20232 yr Branding for different markets probably. Loadshedding only really makes sense for SA, hence the name
October 11, 20232 yr Author Suppose....but a certain retailer in SA is offering all three brands, and at different prices nogal
October 11, 20232 yr Author Well, that's a little different- same hardware, yes, but different supplier and different software. This is different offerings from the same supplier, seemingly put out there to confuse 😉

Surely it’s not just the same thing in a different case?

November 11, 20232 yr @Snapperthese units are all the same, there is a 2.5kW/3kWh, 3.6kW/4kWh & 5.5kW/6kWh all in one combos. Must admit very compact & smart unit, however, there are fans. You can parallel them as well. Different suppliers have different designation between, Lifelynk, Loadshedder & Powerlynk. Same same, just different name on the outside. The support is all on the same platform & that is Sunsynk & the Sunsynk logger comes as standard. May I also say that can be paralleled effortlessly to add inverter & battery power or just battery power. The BSL batteries can be added as well as the Sunsynk batteries. Maybe a whole list of other batteries too, just not tested yet...One needs to interrogate the protocol used which will most likely be the Pylontech protocol but I cannot confirm that.

Then "LifeLynk" models' guides are linked to on the "PowerLynk" and "Loadshedder" pages? Very confusing.

I emailed Synsynk and this was the response from them: Quote Lifelynk and powerlynk are the same but are Country specific due to different grid restrictions. Lifelynk is UK based and Powerlynk is SA based. The Loadshedder is the same as the previous but we have a deal with Get Off Grid in SA for these inverters. All in all, they are all the same products just for different areas and distributors
