April 7Apr 7 The soc is the desired end SOC. If the battery is just there for backup, it's best to enable battery reserve switch, at a 100% soc. A screenshot of the storage mode screen would probably give good insight.

A bit sad that Solis SA support said it’s a battery issue and they can’t help.Will get solar panels this year and will then set it to use down to 40% SOC overnight. And I'm really glad that we could solve your problem 😁I suppose the Solis support technician made the same wrong assumption that most of the earlier responders to this thread made - that of assuming that the system had been commissioned correctly, and that the user is familiar with the settings - so don't be too hard on Solis support...It was only after I noticed your low post count, and in your response to my request for more information when you mentioned that the system was installed only six months ago, and only experienced this problem twice (both times after grid power failures depleted the battery) that I put two and two together and wondered if your inverter settings were actually set up correctly... Just goes to confirm again that one can only expect positive assistance if one provides sufficient information...
