January 14, 20206 yr Good afternoon All I am looking to make contact with anyone who has experience with Victron & Dyness. My system seems to have communications problems although the cable used is that specified for Victron. My system only sees the storage capacity of the 9.6kWh Powerbox as 50Ah rather than 200Ah. It also does not show any of the details from within the batteries. This shot is from a site with 2 x B4874 batteries in parallel but the capacity is incorrect.

Hi, Have at look at this thread and see if it helps solve your issuehttps://community.victronenergy.com/questions/31234/victron-compatibility-with-dyness-lithium-batterie.html
March 24, 20206 yr Hey @Barry Williams Did you ever get an answer to your battery only showing as 50Ah ? Following the link on the Victron forum, I have the battery showing up in the Venus, but only showing 50Ah too. Wondering if the cable is correct for the powerbox ? Also do you have all the voltage settings needed for Dyness ? Absorption voltage Float Voltage Absorption time DC input shut down DC input low restart Sustain voltage Dynamic cut off values

They moved mountains to supply me with batteries and inverters just before the national lockdown. My evaluation of a business is not on their size but the effort to the customer. Just for information I required 5 inverters and 24 200A batteries when most suppliers reported out of stock and they manage to supply me at prises well below the norm.

Very interesting. How is the whole system set up? Does the Dyness CAN bus communicate to the SMA somehow? If not, then what setting did you use on the SI? Are you willing to share. What else needs to be considered? Do you need certain firmware, etc.? I'm in the process replacing a Hoppecke set with two Dyness Boxes. There is still an old type home manager. Thanks a lot. Oxynaut
