  8. in the hope to not seem uneducated but why do you need to move the neutral / earth with a relay? Why can't you instead just star the output of the inverter at either the first output breaker or the changeover switch?

  10. Well done. That is some super work. Did you ever do a calculation of the cost - materials, time spent on making that battery bank? Would be interested in seeing the cost compared to a ready made lithium solution.

  12. Hi, Does anyone have experience with these batteries? I want to find out about the maximum slaves the master battery can control. I know the spec sheet says 8 batteries in total but then the local supplier says the maximum is 1 master and 3 slaves. Then there is this installation video that shows how to do the install from the beginning to the end, and the last option leaves to opening ended by titling it setting for multiple e-kwbe. I want to know if I can do 1 master and 4 slaves basically using the setup of (5,5) for the master and then (3,2);(3,3);(3,4);(3,5)

  19. @The Terrible Triplett there is no mppt, just ac coupled Delta's. @BDL It seems to be different to what you are saying, I have disabled the feed in excess solar power setting before and it has reduced my pv inverter yield so that it doesn't feed back to the grid. I wanted to test it now but unfortunately the weather in durban is not being kind to my solar sites. I will have to wait for a sunny day to see the real world results of that setting. The ac current input is set at 50A on the quattro and there is no setting activated to limit the pv inverters in the ess. The delta are enabled on PF Control to 50%

  21. need help with a system that is behaving differently from another site with the same setup. The system is as follows: 1 x Victron Quattro 48/10000/140-2x100 Product ID 2653 Firmware Version 459 2 x Delta H5A Flex ac coupled on the output of the Victron Quattro 10000watt PV attached to the Delta H5A flex. 1 x Victron Venus GX Firmware version 2.23 1 x AC Current Sensor connected to Aux 2 on the Victron Quattro with current dip switches. I have loaded the ESS assistant and chosen Optimized with Batterylife, I have selected Feed-in excess solarcharger power and set minimum discharge SOC as 70% as they are AGM batteries. The issue I am having is that solar is capped out at 141w the whole day but at the other site with the exact same hardware and settings, during the day the PV is meeting the AC loads, charging the batteries and happily pushing their excess solar but into the gird. I have tried the AC Current sensor from this site on the other site and it works perfectly, and when I tried the AC current sensor from the other site on this site it produced the same behaviour us above, Anybody was additional thoughts and / or ideas?
