I'm finally getting around to installing my LFP's (almost a year late!)

Finally got a nice 42u rack, and can move out the dead acid, yay!

Onto my question -

I need to put some bus bars up for + and - to/from inverter and batteries and put a fuse disconnect in.

Any suggestions on what to use for bus bars, and where to buy in/around CPT?

For fuse disconnects - I was looking at the KETO's - do I need one or two?

eg https://thepowerstore.co.za/products/keto-battery-disconnector-with-160a-fuses

Thanks!

I used two earth bars, bought at an electrical supplier (Cronlec in my case). Mounted them in a UT-7s case. Only issue is that the bolt goes through the bar and you need to tighten it from both ends. At the cost its not too bad a source of thick copper bar.

You Can get copper plate and bars and off cuts from this guys https://www.copalcor.co.za/ They are in Stikland. I had some left overs when waterjet some copper shim rings for my vw aircooled turbo motor that i used for my Lifepo4's. They got of cuts at at back and they work at KG/R.

@NigelL at what place did you buy the black glands and black sleeving? They look really good.

Hi Gerlach, I bought some of the glands and the sleeving from Rubicon, but they are quite expensive. AC-DC sometimes have stock of the 25mm and 20mm glands.
