Pylontech Batteries - Green SOC Lights turn off then back on

Featured Replies

Hi there

Recently I have noticed something happening on my two Pylontech batteries (3000 model), when on solar and running on generator. The SOC lights (6 green on) suddenly all turned off with both batteries and after a number of seconds back on. Something similar happened also with one of the batteries.

Is this normal?

Thanks

Thanks very much for you input. I was just worried, as unfortunately I have a MUST 5kva inverter and although this is a new model and has settings for a lithium ion battery, it doesn't have the option to work along with BMS.

Yes, as others have noted this is normal, I run 4 x US2000 Plus batteries.  If you run the BatterView software with a console cable connected it will show the battery changing modes when the leds go out, i.e between charging, discharging and idle.  Sometimes it might turn 2 batteries in the set to idle at night when there is low load and the lights will go out on those units, just normal part of the BMS operation by the looks of it.

Sí, eso solo significa que las baterías están llenas. Si lees el manual para ellos, te dará todos los estados y su significado.

Hola, que manual es el que hablas?, me podrías dar un link. Gracias saludos desde chile.

Hope you can help. I have just added two Pylontech 3000C to an existing 3 off  same. I fully charged the original 3 and then each of the new ones before connecting. They show up on the shine app but whilst they discharge when required they won't accept charge , instead sending any excess to the gris. The lights go out indicating they are full but the app shows 95%....any ideas pls

Update.....it obviously needed to sleep on it as this morning I awoke to find the batteries had discharged by 30% overnight and were now recharging as expected.....
