November 21, 20205 yr Author Hi @Kilowatt PowerYes, I agree, regarding the spec sheet, however, I went back to Ellie’s where I got the inverter, checked out another 3.6, it also did not have a fan, so, hopefully won’t have heating issues
November 22, 20205 yr Great. Just wondering, is the 3.6kW 20.5kg in weight? Logically it should be slightly lighter than the 5kW unit.

The 3,6kw won't come with fan as it is not high performance in the sense that the 5,5kw can handle more loads meaning the 3,6kw is used for entry level small applications. Sunsynk concludes these low level requirements don't constitute the need for a fan but in my opinion it should still have one.
November 23, 20205 yr Author it is being installed inside the house, so noise was also a consideration, so no fan is great, the main load for 3 hours or so at a stretch will be a 2 kW geyser. Will report back when it is installed, hopefully soon
December 2, 20205 yr Author The 3.6 turns out to have ONE mppt not two as mentioned in all the specifications. I could not get the display on mppt 2 to show any readings, I thought the unit was faulty, no one knew this, not even the technical help desk, till they researched it, then only did I find that the 3.6 for South Africa has only one mppt
