They're actual Axperts, made in the Voltronic factory, with Kodak branding. All Axperts are rebranded. But the model names are up to the company ordering the inverters. A colleague and I maintain a post with several of the mappings, for Mecer, Kodak, MPPSolar, and more.

; a: BMS DISconnected
; b: BMS SOC %
; c : BMS force charge

; f: BMS CV voltage in tenths
; g: BMS float voltage in tenths
; h: BMS cutoff voltage in tenths
; i: max charge current
; j: max discharge current

So: only values supplied by the BMS, not stuff related to what the inverter is doing.

grant.cpt reacted to BritishRacingGreen in Axpert King Battery WattsSadly this is a constraint, the battery current is exposed on RS232/USB protocols (QPIGS) as whole integer only, so the resolution is 1 ampere. I am surprised that the display reads a higher resolution, as the acquisition accuracy of the inverter inferring the battery current is already low.
The only alternative is to read the battery metrics from your bms, that is if you have one.
EDIT: it could be that if your bms is already connected to the inverter, that the inverter displays thr bms metric, but the QPIGS protocol still only can provide 1A resolution.
If i am not mistaken there is a QBMS command on later models/firmware. We will have to ask @Coulomb if he knows more.

September 2022 been an excellent month for Solar yields (very few clouds)
I'm running at 2.5% Grid_in_kWh, 97.5% Self_kWh
The small 0.3kWh per day (~12w) grid_in is a trickle feed to prevent issues with prepaid meter.
Not grid_out feeding yet.
Self_kWh = Load_kWh - Grid_in_kWh

EDIT: What made a difference for me was changing timers on my two geysers to use them to store energy during the day.

grant.cpt reacted to Jacques Ester in Busbar or not to BusbarI will only use a Busbar when you load is more than what the cables can handle.
You can also double up on the cable from batt to inverter. If you have more than 1 inverter it can also help having a Busbar to connect the bank of batteries to multiple inverters.

grant.cpt got a reaction from Coulomb in Axpert King 5K Drops PVUnderstood. I'll just have to get 1 or 2 more batteries, as I see the one module complains when a high load is pulled from it - Red Alarm light flashes for until solar ramps up, and less amps are pulled.
Makes sense, perhaps 1 Pylon US3000C module isn't what Axpert Inverters should be paired with, but perhaps 2 as a minimum. As I'm sure 2 will be able to level out the voltage better.
But do wanna say HUGE thanks for digging into this.

grant.cpt reacted to Coulomb in Axpert King 5K Drops PVI think it's just because your battery was full, or at least the inverter thought it was full because of the premature float bug. So the PV drew zero for a while, hence the increase in PV voltage. After a minute or two, the battery voltage dropped to the float voltage. This is normal. The battery SOC would have dropped a fraction of 1% SOC; that's the small price you pay for longer life at the float voltage.
If you are bitten by the premature float bug, it's fixed in patched firmware version 71.97a, usually paired with patched display firmware version 02.66a.

grant.cpt reacted to Sc00bs in Daisy Chain Geyser Idea.I use Home Assistant with Node Red/InfluxDB & Grafana, links up to my Sunsynk 8kw inverter and gets all the production data from there.
I use the solar power prediction in Home Assistant to make a decision at to what flows to run every morning at the start of the routine as I have a Node Red flow for low solar power days and one for high solar power days (pool etc)
There are some instructions as to how to do it on the forum but have been thinking of doing a video guide 🙂

Pretty new to this solar and inverter thing. Did my hard study on the manual, and have made some tweaks regarding where the solar load goes etc.
But I do have a question regarding some weird switching. My battery is pretty much sitting at 98% to 99%. During 98% the bluetooth apps is in Line Mode, pulling power from the Solar and Utility if needed. But when the battery reaches 99%, the inverter switches to use the battery only.
Now my question: Is the above normal behaviour because the battery is full?
Current Settings:
Output Source Priority: SUB (Solar Utility Battery)
Charger Source Priority: SLB UCB (Solar Energy provides power to load first, and allow for utility to charge battery)
