So I was planning on building 2x DIY batteries each consisting of 16 of these Svolt 184ah blade cells although plans have changed so they're going up for sale.
I have pretty much all other accessories required to build the battery, below is a list of what I will include with each set:
16x Svolt 184ah Blade Cells (9.4 kWh) 1x JK 150A BMS (JK-B1A24S15P) with balancing cables & temp probes 1x JK BMS button 1x set of 5m silicone red & black cable & ring lugs to extend the balancing cables if needed 1x Set of busbars & clips to connect all cells in series 1x Set of nuts & washers to secure the busbars 9x Wago PCT223 Connectors to easily extend the BMS balancing cables (if needed)
As mentioned, I have 2 of these sets and each set would build a 51.2v battery with a total of 9.4 kWh.
If you were to take both you'd then be sitting with 18.8kWh of batteries for under R55k, some of the parts are not available locally and I have to import them (like the clips & busbars)
These are LiFePO4 cells, they are brand new first life cells and are 1C rated. At this price it works out to R2872.34 per kWh 
 

Yes once the load is disconnected(Breaker off) you can open the fuse holder. The fuse sits in the holder door so it breaks the bottom and top connection from the cable as you open it.

So after 2 weeks of cycling my NEW cells I eventually got my JK BMS connected and on line. What a surprise to see cells only differ by 1mV.
A shout out to Andy's channel for the vital info to start the BMS with external power of 5V above the battery voltage when using on less than 14 cells. 8 in my case.

Yes, way too long I thought, was sitting reading the manual to try see why when suddenly it turned on by itself (I had of course turned the switch on after powering up). When the AC eventually turned on the battery had reached 52V (battery is a 16 cell LFP, with charge cut-off set to 56V.) so I wondered if it wasn't the recovery voltage set to that.

If I may here's the photo of the caps from the Axpert Repair thread hopefully saving anyone else in the same boat having to look for it in that (long) thread.
As a minimum replace C79 and C78 (1000uF 16V electrolytic) - (ref Coulomb & BritishRacingGreen).

Completed my load test and got about 95Ah per 4 running 3 fridges for 29hrs. Very impressed.

Note: Typical life cycles on these cells exceed 4000 so there's plenty good life in them yet. See screenshot of them perfectly top-balanced at 3.624V, with a 4mV cell voltage difference. Note also that they deliver 98% of stated capacity. Come with busbars and cell holders.

Bought some of these cells new yesterday from Telenetix in Centurion (0861887847) for R1140 each (incl. VAT).
Pity the busbars and clips aren't available here yet but I'm having some busbars CNC cut from aluminium. Will try 3D print some clips after modifying the STP file (*thanks NoordSolar for the link).
Top balancing large capacity cells like these is going to be a challenge though as my biggest charger only does 15A. Anyone in JHB have a high amp LFP charger?

Here's my simplified STL for the clips, allows it to be printed upright with minimal support.

These cells need very little top balancing - they are all within 1% is capacity and initial charge . I would just charge them all in series with your BMS and let the BMS top balance it if you have a BMS with decent balancing current
 

I have heard that Altergrid is in the process of ordering a set of brackets and busbars. You can print them your self if you want , STP file provided here http://www.cleverbms.com/list_11/89.html
