If you connect the panels in series your voltage will double, to get more amps from the panels you will have to connect some panels in Parallel. So you would probably have a combination of series and parallel.

They have a patent for the supercap. If it was a gimmick I don't think they would patent it. Keen to see how long it lasts

I hear you, at the moment the are only a few Videos on the Kilowatts lab supercap. I also saw the video on the supercap construction didn't look good. But they said since the new release it has improved, that I am not sure about or cannot verify. Now I assume that if this supercap dies at 7000 cycles they will have to replace it. I also have access to my friends home he runs it via a growatt inverter. Looks good to me he is happy with it. I just wish there were more user reviews

12 x JA Mono 315watt Panels, only the Panels on a tiled roof. Cables need to be run down to the garage near the inverter. Supply mounts and cables for the panels as well.

hmmm okay I have question on this.... So by bridging the 3 phases together does that mean you are running on 1 phase permanently ? Or are you bridging the 3 phases only when eskrap turns the power off ?

Yeah I know I have a 3 phase house so that makes things worse. For now I just want back up. Solar during the day battery at night for essential loads. I will be getting a supercap. I have found the geysers draw a lot of current so I am now looking for some management system for them. At the same time I want to try and convert them to solar if that is possible at all

btw is the pricing still valid for the BYD batteries ?

Yes though the issue is I am paying COJ a shit load for electricity I want to get to a point where I am not reliant on the grid and save money as well. Lets say they increase prices by 7.5% each year over the next 3 years. Then I what I am paying will go up quite a bit. The way things are going at the moment I am not going to wait for that day. Why pay COJ when I can invest my own solution.

I want to go off grid so if something can feed load to the house at night and still last me 3 to 4 years I will be happy. But 5 years is great !

I would also like to know if you could power the load on battery at night I mean with so many cycles as advertised on most batteries, why not right ?
