Finally took the plunge and bought a better Off Grid Solar System
Was again a bit of a learning curve to extract the data from the inverter.
Finally have it working on RPi4 using a bit of Python with MQTT, Influxdb and Grafana
Always amazes me how data can become so easily visualised on a single page.
 

Care to share how you accomplished that? Perhaps have a Pi image?

I will see what I can do to share this. Currently it only works for the growatt spf5000es, I am planning on making it work for other growatt models and maybe other inverter Brands too.

Anyone here know which Growatt side Li protocol to use for Narada BMS on the npfc100 batteries.
Going to take me ages to cycle through each setting

I would be very much interested in such software, I have 2 X Growatt  SPF 5000 ES inverters. running in master slave configuration.

Forgot to mention, make sure its the latest version of grafana that fully supports transformations

Since crypto mining is paying for all the fancy new equipment I guess it should be fitting to add the crypto prices to that stats display

Your dashboard looks so cool. Since Growatt decided to remove the History option for the shineServer web interface my monthly stats are lost. I still don't understand why they removed it.... Apparently its only available on the installers dashboard and that doesn't make sense at all 🤬

Anyway, will have to play around with the API's and see if I can get to the historic data... Has anybody got a javascript or python script to retrieve the historic data?

 

I have 2 x SPF 5000ES inverters running independently each on 1 phase of a 3 phase system. 2 x GCL E-KwBe 5.6kWh battery's. 16 x 420W Canadion PV panels.

I have two Narada 48NPFC100 which are connected to the Growatt SPF 5000 ES inverter. I have checked the parameters in the manual for Narada. However I need some help with the following parameters to ensure prolonged life and a healthy battery, would you please provide me with the recommended for the following parameters on the Growatt:

• Setting voltage point back to utility source when selecting SBU (program 12)
• Setting voltage point back to battery mode when selecting “SBU priority” (program 13)
• C.V charging voltage (program 19)
• Floating charging voltage (program 20)
• Low DC cut-off voltage (program 21)

hi all, i installed grafana on my raspberry following this guide: (https://github.com/sdsolomo/growatt-x000ES)
I can access the webpage by typing raspberry IP:3000
but I don't see any data.
From ssh if you do this command:
growatt@raspberrypi:~ $ python3 getconfig.py
python3:
can't open file '/home/growatt/getconfig.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

I get the error, how can I fix it?

Did you download the pc software as I suggested so that you can test if you actually have communication with your cable?

if done, the inverter communicates as follows:

tried with different usb cables, they all give the same result

Hello, I contacted the inverter supplier who sent me the program, in the photo you can verify that the inverter communicates with the PC showing all the data, the USB cable works well.
