I'm very excited for this section. I use sonoff products a lot to automate and measure my solar requirements.

I also use products that are not sonoff but also use ewelink. Can we post about that here, also? For example there is a very nice 63A compact wifi breaker with din-rail compatibility that Sonoff unfortunately does not have.

My first question - where can I find the 16A POW2 unit? Seems to be out of stock?

Yeah, it's been discontinued. Try the South African suppliers: https://smartkit.co.za/products/sonoff-pow-r320-elite?_pos=1&_sid=0aede7df7&_ss=r

Hi

We unfortunately don’t have a certified CB yet and I can wait till Sonoff one day bring them out. I am happy that there is a lot of good hardware out there that works with eWeLink which really does help and simplifies the configuration.

The new version will be too wide in my db box (62mm!) so I'm considering getting more of these: https://www.robofactory.co.za/smart-switches/167-63a-1p-smart-circuit-breaker-with-monitoring-ewelink.html but I'm not sure if it can be flashed to tasmota as well? TOMZ seems to make a very cheap version here.

Hi @HeinDuPlessis

They can be flashed with Tasmota, is a bit of a mission though and requires disassembly of the switch and some pretty fine soldering of jumpers to get it to work.

Hi,

Does this CB have a NRCS ? I am looking for one.

Hi, Thank you.

The challenge I have is that I have not been able to find one with local certification by the NRCS. Which if I understand correctly is not in-line with local building regulation. This could potentially void any insurance claim should a claim's assessor ask.

I would like to find out if legally my understanding of the building regulation is correct or would I be paying insurance and possibly have no cover.

I have quiet a few customer's looking for ones with NRCS.
